Does anyone else here collect Pokemon cards?  Next to ponies, Pokemon cards are definitely my favorite thing to collect and trade.  I even taught my cousin how to play not too long ago.

I do, although I've stopped collecting English cards due to the extortionate prices the UK charge

I do! I used to play too, when a bunch of my friends got into it, but I never really got into that part of it. The awesome part was that once they moved on to M:TG they gave me all their cards! Nowadays my boyfriend just buys a booster box of each new set. I'd like to buy some of the ones we need to complete some sets and stuff, but we both have other collections that are higher priority so never seems to get done.


But I have sooo many doubles that I need to do something with. I thought if I ever got around to making a trade thread on here then I could offer them up on there.

Oh I have a tonnnn!! I literally have like 4 binders full. I'd like to sell the majority of my newer cards though, as I have far too many collections going on at the moment and as far as Pokemon are concerned, I would like to mainly focus on the older cards more-so than the new ones.

If anyone is interested in buying newer cards (buy in bulk!) I'm willing to sell them considerably cheap!

I love collecting the cards but sadly have no real idea how to play the actual game aside from understanding the hit points, etc.

I love Pokemon though. <3 They bring back some great memories of my childhood!

I only collect rare, promo and limited edition cards. I've been collecting since I was about 4 though. I bought a pile of holo cards for £10 from this kid I worked with at the pet shop, they were old ones too! I often come across a lot of decent cards at the markets, although some people overcharge loads D: Pokémon is something I hold very dear to my heart, it's always made me happy

I did for about 5 minutes in the late 90's.  I tried, but I could never really get into it.

I used to have lots, sorted very carefully into a binder with those card protectors.  But I think my mom gave them all to the thrift store while I was at college.  I had some great cards too

Me, me!! I only collect the first four generations (the reason I began collecting the fourth generation was that I grew tired of only being able to buy cards online, so one day I went to the store and caved-- I came home with a few packs of the Diamond and Pearl series).

The fun is in opening the booster packs! But now that all the ones I collect are old, it is easier to buy them used online. :/ I hardly buy them, though. It's ponies mostly, but Pokemon is still in my heart for sure. <3
