Are there instructions for glueing fur cloth to heads?

I made some wigs out of fur cloth, but the size ratio is a bit off of the head. Like there's a half an inch of cloth hanging off of her scalp. I was wondering if there was a website to see how you can just glue attach the cloth straight to the head. The wigs are really cute, but I honestly would like the hair permanent on the head.
I got a idea how it would work, but I just need something solid to go by with possibly pictures.

hot glue or tacky glue will work.

Thank you, I just worry that the cloth will wrinkle and the doll will have wrinkle head lol. I guess I can experiment on a CAM.
