Steampunk Swap for hlbmlp!

So I got hlbmlp for my partner in the Steampunk Swap, and she mentioned liking the G2s.  I had planned on using a G1 for the pony...but realized this G2 would work great for a different concept.  And so--here is Clockwork Purple!

She was an absolute blast to make...although securing the wings on one side (her right?) was a HUGE pain...why I didn't think to use a wingnut from the beginning, I have no idea.  She's a zebra because first...I didn't want long hair, not with those clock-hand wings...tangle city.  And once I thought of a mohawk, I was *gonna* make it a guy...but then I thought "zebra"...and it went from there.  Zebra stripes look really cool on the top of their backs, BTW....

The goggles are made from leather, rubber grommets, carefully cut-out circles of thin plastic (from a G4 bubble ) and skinny second-hands from my clock hands, cut short for the little binding strips.
