Though, truthfully, I'm a little put-off when people equate dirty with "baity" or in need of restoration... we all wash our clothes, or at least try to, not cut them up or get rid of them just because they're dirty, I hope!
Aw, you guys are doing such a great job! They look amazing all cleaned up. BTW, if you don't mind me asking, where did the mildewed ponies come from? Did someone donate their collection to your meet? How did they get so grimy? I'm a little curious.
I think an aquaintance of someone going to the pony meet had found these ponies, and either didn't know or didn't have the time to clean them, so they put them in a paper sack on the freebie table at the MD meet with a really lovely note and said that whomever wanted to put the effort into them could have them for free. It was really nice, I thought. And so much better than trashing them! It's so nice to see dirty ponies find loving homes.
