Peek-a-Boo Head Removal?
« on: May 16, 2012, 02:13:57 PM »
I have a Baby Racer who needs to be rehaired, and of course I need to remove his neck mechanism to get into his head. I have a baity Baby Ribbs I've been practicing each step on before Racer, and his little round part popped right out of his head. Racer must have some grit preventing that from happening, because I can't get it out :P Also, I'm not sure how to approach separate the top part of the mechanism from his head. His head is already detached from his body, but I can't figure out the best way to get the mechanism separated from his head. I do want his peek-a-boo parts to still work when he's re-assembled. I've only found one tutorial on this and it only shows the parts once they are already out, which does not really help me. Can anyone give me some insight into this? Pics or tutorial links or just advice would be very helpful :)

I'll mess with my baby whirly twirl when I get home, but  even if you have to force it out and end up damaging the mechanism, you could always take it from the bait one XD I'll let you know if I figure anything out :3

This tutorial should help ... if it's not the one you already used.

If not ... I don't have much experience with really in-there ones.  :(
