Where to buy in London?
« on: May 03, 2012, 06:31:36 AM »
Hello! I`m traveling to London on July so i am wondering if there is a place to buy vintage mlp, like a flea market or something like that. Do you know some?

I will appreciate your help!

Charity shops, which are random when you find anything pony.  :)

Car boot sales are your best bet to find any vintage ponies, I haven't seen one in a charity shop in about ten years and I even heard that they're not allowed to sell toys that are that old any more. Don't know if that's true or not though.

Anyway... maybe try any of these if you are nearby on the right days:

Enjoy your time in London :)

Mercynova:  Sadly it would not surprise me at all if they did stop selling older toys due to toxicity concerns.  The USA cracked down on that too.

There is a shop in Notting Hill called mimi fifi, http://www.mimififi.com/ They sometime have ponies upstairs but they are normally over priced, either way its a cool shop.

I never have time to pony shop when in London much to my irritation...but as others have said your best bet for G1s these days are car boots [thats going to depend which bit of London you are going to] or even charity shops.

Good luck in your hunt...I hope you enjoy the city
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi
