I've all ready offered to pay to have it shipped back to me so I can fix it but I'm curious on how I should do it and if anyone thinks there's a way to keep it from happening again when I send him back :C

This is my horrible start of the week to go with my horrible weekend.

How did you secure the wings from the inside? I noticed the wire goes through. I use the same method on most of my wings and twist the wire very tight inside the body. I also use apoxie sculpt over that wire twist inside the body if I know the pony will be shipped to a far location. That prevents the extra wire from poking outside the body. You can also tape padding around the base of the wings when shipping.

I am curious to see how others do this as well.

I think you'd be better off having that person try to fix it on there end rather than risk it getting more broken in the mail. I would attempt to slove the wing back inside the body and secure it with glue and glue the broken feathers back into place.

I did what you do, twisted the wire then added some glue and spicier over that, I also added glue around the base of the wing before I painted it to hold it better in place as they're pretty heavy.

Only bad thing is it needs to be shipped back to me as it's new home is roughly 19-20 hrs away

Mass amounts of bubble wrap, bagged air and some packing paper on the bottom to hold him in place, only thing I can think of was CP/USPS felt that Playing volley ball with his box was fun

It's hard to tell since the picture is a little blurry but that wire looks like a pretty thin gauge and with wings that large and heavy that is a lot of strain on a thin piece of wire. That might be part of it.

Oh no! I'm sorry it got a little shaken up in transit :( The damage doesn't look that bad, though. If it happened to me I would probably just try to fix it myself before shipping it back.
