Really Random Question, need the name of a specific shape

what does one call the shape of a rupee from zelda?

I need the actual name for the shape/ gem cut.

I poked around and it looks like one version of a hexagon cut:

I found another company with a piece of citrine that looked similar  (8th down) but they have no official name for it (perhaps because the custom interior):

I've found several different cuts under this name unfortunately that widely varied, so I don't know what the universal term would be for the exact shape/cut (elongated hexagon maybe?). I would suggest emailing a gem cutting company and see what their take on it would be. That would probably be your best bet. Good luck!

It's not a common cut in gem cuts and shapes. (round brilliant, octagon/emerald, princess, oval are more common)

As Mandy said, looks like a Hexagon cut (towards the bottom)

Thats not a common cut int he gem world but is common in gaming >>
