When and where were they sold?  Like year, country, and store.  Does anyone know?

Me too; they are so cute!  Thanks for the answer.  I take it they didn't sell too well though, because there is hardly any information on them anywhere...

i know they were for sale in NZ at The Warehouse as i bought a couple for my kids. Never saw them again. Kids lost them. I wasn't collecting toys back then. We had a good range on the shelves and i wanted them all but couldn't afford them.
All i have left are some accessories and 1 polly pocket size doll

I'm not sure of the year of release, but I found mine marked down in mid 2008 at a retail store - Kmart.

Here is all I know:
So the above are Toffee and Anika (not in stock clothes) and they are one of the releases known as 'models'. The other 'models' are Purrl, Sushi, Sienna and Minx. The other type released were the 'behind the scenes' dolls and they came with more accessories and in a bigger box. Callie the model of the year. Topaz the make-up artist. Jet the fashion photographer. And Chase the modelling agent. There were also petite versions of many of the dolls.

Their bodies are like Bratz - their feet are removable. And they fit barbie clothes best, or pullip clothes.
They are very hard to find as I think they weren't available for long and were sold in chains like Big W and Kmart in Australia, NZ and parts of europe.
The only places i've seen them listed for sale:
Amazon for huge prices— I saw one of the 'behind the scenes' kitties there a while back. Sometimes they do pop up in ebay from aussie sellers. You can catch them if you look. There's one listed there now: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/CATWALK-KITTY-GREY-/320892107276?pt=AU_Dolls&hash=item4ab6a8fa0c#ht_598wt_1189

I know a lot of aussie blythe collectors were talking about them in 2008 around the time I got mine, so I bet if you asked around on Blythe Kingdom or We Play With Dolls there'll be someone with one they're willing to sell. I saw one for sale on Blythe Kingdom earlier this year by an aussie.
I may be selling mine sometime soon.

I just took a photo of the Portfolio that came with the dolls. I am in the process of purchasing Purrl and Toffee locally. *bounce!*
I am a bit shocked how fate works. Accessories are usually the 1st things to go missing and hardest to find but thats all i have! i was so worried that my preschool age girls would lose the TINY!! compacts and phones and stuff when i bought our original 2 dolls so i stashed them all away in a plastic tool box. 6 years later and i still have all the lil bits!
I sooo sad that my girls dolls are gone now. (They got left at my ex husbands place when we seperated) And angry that so many other people can't respect and take care of their toys and belongings.

I'll slowly inventory all the little bits i have and hopefully it could be a good reference for other collectors to know what to look out for.

Thank you for the pics everyone!  They are awesome, the pamphlet showing them all is so great....we have found Anika, Topaz and Callie (there is an ebay seller selling Callie MIB for $60 w/ free shipping, it is an awesome playset of the Eiffel Tower with lights and sound, if anyone is interested, I think it was a great deal considering what other people are asking for the same set MIB). We are interested in buying more if we can find them, but we are most especially looking for Sushi, Jet or Chase!  If anyone sees one, feel free to shoot me a pm.

I'm in the middle of trying to buy one from her right now actually, although I fear all will be gone when I can. She has said shipping to Australia is $62 but I can't buy it because she has listed the item as to US only. I'm getting frustrated :/

If someone was willing to buy one FOR me and ship down to me at cost would be a major help! (I can pay straight away)

Well I can tell you that it is a VERY Large box!  When I got it, I couldn't imagine what it was....and then I figured it must be the playset wrapped in a ton of plastic, but no, it really was that big!  It's about 2 ft long on one side, and a foot and a half on the other side....so not sure that it would be ALOT cheaper for anyone else to ship it out :-(
