How long is Newborn Twin Ponies hair?

Hey guys, how long is normal Newborn Twin Ponies hair? I have two of them I need to rehair and right now I think I have the hair being too short for them x.x  I don't mind it being shorter than it should but I'm worried about it not staying styled after I send the ponies to my friend

If you wrap the hair around the neck, the ends of the hair are just a bit longer than where it overlaps the roots.

Its going to depend on which newborns and whether you mean tails or manes....for example the Uni newborns have shorter manes than the Pegs and Earth babies...while some of the tails such as on Puddles and Peeks always appear to be a little longer than other tails [although I think thats my perception on that one]...either way over all the Peg and Uni tails are longer in proportion than with adult and baby ponies...

If you could say which ones, I am sure I or someone else can measure theirs for you!

I'm rehairing, I believe it's Sniffles and Noodles

Sniffles mane (from Sniffles & Snookums) 7 cm, (2.75"), first 5 plugs are 3.7cm (1.5")
Tail is 9.2cm (3.6") long


Her twin's mane was the same, tail was slightly longer.


Noodles mane 6.5cm, Doodles was 7cm. (suspect my Noodles has a slight trim, since the other three were all right around 7cm.)  Tail was just over 9cm. Doodles tail 9.1cm.


I'd put 7cm manes and 9cm tails as average for the non-curly haired twins. =3
