Thanks again, y'all. They have such tiny behinds that it's hard to get a cutie mark on there.

She is beautiful... I love her colours and her eyes. I haven't tried customizing G4s yet, but my sweetheart just "commissioned" me to make one. I hope mine turns out as well as yours!

Thanks Reyl, She was my 1st g4 and I'm addicted. I was so glad I read about sculpting them with Sculpey and baking them at a low 210 degrees F. I actually put clay over her eyes so I could do my own shape. She has dark brown hair and hazelly gold eyes like me, and my beauty-mark [fancy for mole] on my cheek. I also put eyebrows on my 'people' ponies, I don't know why but I like to do that. What are you making for your sweetie?

My sweetie asked for a G4 version of PI's Mountain Ponies... basically a pony with double wings. We'll see if it works! Sculpey will be involved, for the hairy feet. It will be the first pony I do more than just paint and hair.

I love those colours you used. Nice earthy tones. The sculpy on the eyes is a great idea. I think I will try that on some of my G3s to make painting the eyelashes easier. The eyelids just get in the way!

Thanks, and I usually use sculpey on the eyes of g3's when I am making them into g4-themed ponies so that the eye-to-head size ratio is right. Here is an example on the Princess Cadence I am working on for another Arena member. She used to be a g3 gem blossom pose.

She looks great! I love how you made a simple idea really come to life!
I took a break from the Arena from a couple months due to school and other things in my life. But I'm back now!

I don't get the whole 'big head/big eyes' trend but I can roll with it ;) I have to say it does look more appropriate (less creepy) on the tiny g4's.
