Who in your opinion is the rarest MH doll?

i'd say,

sdcc girls  ghoulia and frankie, since frankie was  LE   i donno was ghoulia a LE too?

probably this years sdcc exclusive will be sought after too. so maybe try to get who ever it is? if you like them.


i agree with dance draculaura i only saw her once in stores and am kicking my self for not buying the 3 pack then, and i wanted her but    you can't find her now.

 also gloom beach ghoulia only seen that pack a couple times  but did here it was re-released.

Gill  he was hard to find even when out!   but i ended up with 2
I heard  Holt is Htf, i only saw him a few times in stores.

Dance deuce  again i only saw him once in store. but was lucky to get him online when  mattel had him in stock on there web.

 
 -Girls-

  Spectra -  sounds like she has  a good chance of being HTF  i did see her in stores a few times. I got mine from the store  right when she was released.
  cupid - i NEVER saw her at any of my wall marts either  but i got her from walmart online. I heard she recently came back in  stock though so maybe they will restock her?

  Wave 1 clawdeen -  i had no problem finding this doll when wave 1 was instock,  she is the first doll i got. But i heard  others were having  a hard time finding her.
  I am wondering if the version of her with normal hands is more rare than the version with claws,  i would think so.

 I'd say abbey too.. but  jury is out to me cuz they are re-releasing her.
 Same for 2.0 lagoona.

Well i think definitely Gloom beach Jackson & Gil are 2 of the more rare ones... Even when they were released they were in like every other shipment.
DoTD Deuce i have never actually seen in store so i would say him too..
And of the girls i would have to say Spectra... cause i STILL have never seen her come out regularly in stores.

Abbey is no longer rare since she is being released with wave 4 now. I saw like 5 of her in the last truck at Toys R us

Gloom Beach Jackson is hard to find? I still see quite a few of him in one particular store around here. Crazy!

I'd say Dance Draculaura too, I've tried to get a hold of her like..forever!

I've seen Gil once in stores, but this thread makes me want to buy him if I ever come across him again X) I passed him up because I don't collect boys, but he's really the only I can stand of them. But if I ever change my mind, I really don't want to regret not getting him!

Other than that I don't think I've had a problem getting any of the girls, I may have overpaid a bit for one or two. But finding them wasn't hard at all.

Basic Abbey was pretty much the ultimate HTF until recently because of the rerelease


I'd say Spectra, Cupid, and Gil are the rarest characters.


2.0 Lagoona, DOTD Deuce are rare dolls but not rare characters (imo)

Haven't even *seen* the newer DotD dolls around here. And I really hope Gil shows up before I have to buy him online. The werecat twins, Howleen...so many cute figures still coming out or coming up in this line.

well i know sdcc frankie was limited to 5000  but i donno about ghoulia. It would be nice to know how many sdccc ghoulia's were made if any one has numbers.
 I can't wait to see who they bring out for sdcc this year!

I was thinking Spectra.  I snagged one for a member before xmas but haven't seen anymore since.

I'd say any of the dolls released between October last year and February of this year, the 1600 line being the exception (save cupid). I've NEVER seen a Cupid (I'd have her otherwise) and I've only seen the second wave DotD dolls a few times- Lagoona once, and Deuce a few times, and I did grab him because his slicked down snakes make me giggle, and I strongly dislike Cleo's original outfit so the two-pack of them was a no for me.

That said, my walmart on Friday actually had full shelves of dolls- including a lot of Rochelle, Jackson, and Abbey, so I managed to get a number of the dolls my folks out here have been dying for. And, by Sunday, there were still dolls, even if they were CAMs and 1600s.

I will put in my two cents on Cupid though: Considering how few there were actually in stores, how insanely popular she is, and that she's part of the main 1600 line, even if she is a walmart exclusive, I don't actually think that they stopped making her.
