Well, I already have the ModPodge in Matte and I think I have some Gloss hanging around somewhere, too. Been wanting to try the satin, glad to hear it works well.

I've been having the darndest time with paint though! Nothing seem to want to adhere well to my sculpted areas. Do any of you have this issue? I finally taped up the pony and sprayed the sculpt with krylon primer, and that seems to have worked.

I'm working on finishing my first 2 customs also!  I just got a bottle of mod podge and am a bit apprehensive!  For those of you who use the brush on, do you coat the whole pony or do it in steps?  How long does it take to dry, 1-2 hours/1-2 days?

MrsDavis, I have to giggle a little at your avatar, it's just too appropriate for the first customs headache! :silly:

I coat the whole pony at once and leave it to dry for at least a few hours, depending on how thick I did it.  Usually that's enough for me to gently handle it without getting fingerprints in it, but I generally leave it overnight just to be safe.

Mod Podge is great but needs to be watered down usually to the consistency of milk.
