I purchased some of this aerosol modge podge matte sealer the other day, but now I'm hesitant to use it on my ponies or dolls. Has anyone used it? I seal most of my paint jobs with the normal modge podge, so I'm not sure what the difference would be, but thought I'd best check. Thanks in advance!

Personally I've never used it but I think someone said it became tacky? I'm not 100% sure on this as it's been a while

That's what I was concerned about. I had a bad experience with a few spray sealants a few years ago and was wary of using one again, however I have some pastel work on a doll I'm afraid to seal using brushes :/

Do you have anything you can test it on? I keep a pony around to test things on specifically for this reason. That way you dont have to worry about ruining a finished project.

that's a good idea. I was thinking...even if it were to get tacky, after I'd sealed it, I could immediately seal it with another sealer that WONT get tacky? I just know if I take a brush to the delicate blushing I did on this doll with pastels that it's gonna ruin it >.<

You could always just spray the cheeks and when it dries, take a brush or a sponge to it.

I've used it :) Then noticed water takes the tackyness off. Since I kinda forgot the pony outside. The paint didnt come off either :)
