Gypsy (Debra Birge) has a book in the works. ;) I know she's been working hard on it for a long time & she's pretty close to completion. :bigups:

deb already has released a book called "my little pony around the world" it is a great book with lots of pictures, however some of the information is out dated now as our knowledge has grown since it was released.

also please don't forget about the nirvana gallery here ;) it is one of the most up to date galleries around.

I would not reccommend the book 'around the world' as there are lots of ponies missing in it! Not trying to critique the writer, i bought the book myself ;) But since there are coming at least 2 other nirvana books out, i'd think it's much better to buy a recent one with accurate pricing and such.

PS: Nirvana Galleries ROCK :cheer:

"Around the World" was written around 10 years ago at a time when a lot less was known about international ponies. In its day, it was a great reference. Deb's new book is not just a newer version, but a completely up-to-date guide. I spoke with her about it at the Fair & I think it will be a truly *awesome* reference guide once it's finished. :bigups:

How come noone out there made a nirvana ID book?

I think the main reason is that, I think, that it is not 100% known how many nirvana's are exactly out there. That is, the collectors already know that many countries had been producing their variants of ponies for some years, and are aware of the different color schemes, pose variants, and body types of international ponies. However, the world of MLP collecting is still full of surprises as new variants continue to be found. An example of this are the Venezuelan ponies.

My advice is to check out MyLittleWiki site or the Nirvana gallery here at the Arena. And perhaps also wait for Debra Birge's book to come out. ;)
