Glueing heads on necks (G4) :(

I'm having problems with reheading a G4 Fashion style pony (She was originally Pinkie pie)- I'm using a rubber glue and it goes all tacky, but doesn't make a good seal. I also still have it's cut off plug


Do I have any options here? Tips? I'd like to re use the plug, and this is commercial strength rubber glue. I don't know if I need to prep it somehow... is it even possible to reuse old plugs?

Have you tried super glue?  I use Gorilla's Super Glue to glue plugs back in, and I've never had a problem with it.

Is this to glue the head on or the plug?

I use Krazy Glue with the brush applicator.  Works great for me.

I just use superglue to attach heads I've had to cut plugs off of.

Superglue is the best way, to be honest.

Like everyone else said, use Super Glue.  Get the gel kind that Krazy Glue has that you can easily control.

I love the gel kind! I use it both to glue plugs back in, or to glue heads straight on to the body.

Scratch that- Warehouse Stationary stock Krazy glue. Man- they stock the weirdest brands that I've never seen before   I got my modpodge there too. Never seen it before MLP I'll get some from there. Cheers you guys! <3
