almost a year, can you tell? critique

i joined the arena last feb. but didnt start customs until last summerish. so since its been a while i was wondering if i could get some critique.


am i making good progress? what should i work on?

i wish i had more to show but i have so many WIPs right now, i wish they were done.


so what do you think? what can i do to make my customs go from "that looks nice" to "wow that looks amazing! i want" ???

You're doing fantastic! I can see your control of paint has gotten better, and your lines are more fine, and your FBRs are super smooth! Can't wait to see where you are in a year from now!

i think your progress is great. personally, i always prefer "real" hair over yarn hair too, and i think the gradients make the customs look more professional!

I can see you made great progress, probably quicker than me!

Your first are typical first ponies in my eyes: shiny paint, low quality or yarn hair don't worry I did the same!

Now your latest ponies are really good! As others said you have a much. Ether control of your paint, lines are smoother and gradients and fbr look awsome.

Improvement? Keep on customizing! Maybe try your hands at hair styling?

Keep going, every pony is getting better and better.  I love the gradients, they are nicely done and really enhance the pony.
