Whyyy are we waaaiting... Update!

So I took a big deep breath, shut my eyes tightly and took a flying leap into BJDs... I've just placed an order for my first ever BJD, a tan Resinsoul Mei  After dithering for days I finally found the courage to click 'checkout'  I've already picked out and ordered her green, glass eyes and a beautiful blonde mohair wig, so what else can I do to pass the time?! The wait is gonna kill me

Is anyone else waiting or any other kinds of dolls? Maybe we can all entertain each other 

Edit: Eee! Sudden, unexpected windfall means I'm actually-sort-of getting Mei for free! That's the line I'm using on my fiance, anyway!

Don't get me started...
I ordered my very first BJD in January from DDE. It's FL PKF Luna and I wanted her for years. Then I was finally brave enough to click check out so I know how you feel 
I had to purchase her on a four month layaway, I have paid the first 3 installments already. She will be mailed out on April 12th when the layaway is fully paid and it will take up to two to four more weeks og shipping and being held in customs until I will hold her in my hands.
And the waiting is just killing me...

Aww I know how you feel about the wait. My first doll was a pre-order from a dealer, so it was a while before the order was made to the company, then the order was delayed due to Chinese new year. All up I waited nearly 4months...it drove me nearly insane!

Did you order her direct from Resinsoul? If so then they've always shipped out exactly when they said they would for me, even with special skin colours (I have green and tan).

Ahh Fiwen,  Good choice.  I had to wait for my white Resin Soul Mei.  I am now waiting for the parts for another bjd.   I will have to wait 8-10 weeks for them.  Of course it gives me something to look forward to.

I haven't even decided which one I want yet!! I know the sooner I decide the sooner she will be with me, but I just can't pick one...I honestly think I'm going to have to save up and buy both of my girls at the same time >.<

Anyway, I totally know how you feel, having to wait - and I sympathize

I didn't order her straight from RS, but through a UK-based dealer called Angelesque. She puts in a big order with everyone's dolls with various companies, monthly. It's not for everyone, but it cuts out those nasty customs fees for UKers, and gives some international shipping security too. The Resinsoul order is going to be put through on the 28th, then hopefully Mei will arrive in 4-6 weeks

Yea the wait is long but worth it The longest I had to wait was for my Unoa, which took 6 months
