? About Megan & Sundance Pony Wear

Hey everybody,
Quick question about the Picnic in the Park Megan & Sundance Pony Wear set. I've won every piece except for the pony shoes in an eBay auction, and I'm wondering if those red pony shoes are the same shade of red as the pony shoes in the Hearts and Candy set (or any other pony wear set)?


Also, for the Megan & Sundance Sweet Dreams set, are the purple pony shoes the same shade as any other set?


I really hope so, otherwise I'm going to have to hunt down those shoes

Hearts and Candy shoes are rock hard, the shoes for sundance are soft. like flash-prance shoes.

I have both the Hearts and Candy set and Picnic in the Park set, and they are different shades of red.  I think the Picnic in the Park shoes are supposed to match Megan's while the Hearts and Candy ones are a bit lighter. (I could have those reversed though.)  Both of my sets are soft and flexible. 
 
I don't have any other sets with purple bow shoes to compare with the Sweet Dreams set; so, I'm not sure on those.

But I do know that The Hearts and Candy shoes are rock hard like FantasticFirefly mentioned.

I have 4 distinct red shoes sets (however there is not telling whether fading is involved). I know that the Country Jamboree has NO other shoes like it- therefore I am 90% certain that the colors in the Megan & ponywear are distinct. The being said I just went through my entire box of pony wear and only came up with 1 shoe for the sweet dreams set....

Each of Sundances shoes seem to have been created in order to match Megans own shoes for the wear sets...so although they are very similar they are a little different in shade...if you have Megans shoes thats the best way to tell the difference...

Oh they are good at recycling moulds....bad at keeping batch colours the same!

I have more blue flower combs in more shades than Hasbro ever intended...I just need to accept the fact these are not all variations just minor manufacturing differences...but its frustrating...so I feel your pain lol!

And the worst part of Megan and Sundance wear is tracking down all the UK aprons...sigh...now the changes in them are simply unjustified and were clearly planned to torment collectors 20+ years after they were sold..

Lol...now I need to find them!! I actually think I know which shelf they are on...

I have found 3 distinctly different ones now...and a couple with minor differences...I am trying for sanity sake to discount the minor ones as otherwise I think every single apron I have ever found I could justify as different!
