I had to De-scalp her!! Lots of pics
« on: June 26, 2012, 06:38:09 PM »
So I put to you a couple days ago for ideas on how to rip this very stuborn hair out of this G3.5 styling sized girl. Nothing was any use, she was just GLUED sooo much inside. I just had to cut open her scalp to see what I was dealing with. So I cut a small hole, then saw this thick thick glue, ended up cutting a bigger size as you can see in the pics, no amount of boiling, acetone, scrubbing, screwdriver scraping will get this thick glue off. So she now has a scalpless head! You can see its so think in the top of her head its actually filled up her ear also. Now im left with this poor head, wondering what to so with her now.... My OH suggested a can holder lol. I think maybe a pencil holder or something, well see. Anyhow thought id share these pics, so if anyone else gets something like this one day, youll know your not the only one!!!

Yeh thats the plan, sculpt a pocked in the back there or maybe give her a new scalp!

I used a styling size 3.5 for my showgirl pony.  I ended up just cutting her hair super close to her head and then sculpting a headdress over it.

I did just dehair one of these gals.  I feel your pain!  It took me about a week of hot water, acetone, brute force, and pushing in the scalp to break up the glue (not an easy feat!)  Probably the hardest thing I've dehaired ever!  You could remove the hair and glue the scalp back on.  Maybe after rehairing, apply some apoxie sculpt for stability?  A can holder works too :P

Was this a MLP?  I ask because the hairline looks different from the ones I have de-haired.
