What generation do you wish you could have collected while in shops?

I wish I hadn't been little with no disposable income in the 80's... so I could stock up on G1s! But that would also mean that I'd be like 50-60 now. D:  So maybe not!

G2s would've been great. Though I was a raging teeniebopper back then and I purposefully avoided the toy aisle and spent all my extra money on clothes and accessories. So I didn't even know they existed until I started collecting last year. o_o

I also wish I would've bought a few G3s while they were around. I know they're easy to come by now, and cheap MIB, but I hate opening anything MIB when it's not produced anymore. But since MIB G3s are so cheap, I really only want to buy those and get them loose in thrift stores. ARRG first world problems. lol

g1... it's the only true meaningful line of ponies to me.. hasbro needs to make a collectors run of new g1's

Like new characters in G1 style? That would be awesome! I have a whole list of ponies that I want that they didn't make.

Or did you mean another production of original characters, sort of like they did a few years back with the original 6 and some of the rainbow ponies?

G2s.  Unfortunately, I'd miss them all unless I moved to Europe too. :/  I also wish I had kept all my G3s MIB when I got them.
