Tracking says she got here in San Diego late last night, so I hope I get her today (it doesn't say 'out for delivery' but sometimes that doesn't get updated fast enough)  I've got my camera out and ready for her

I've also ordered a wig for her, an 8/9, which is supposed to fit.  But that will be here sometime next week.

Also good to note; bjd's are made of resin while pullips are made of plastic.  The pricing is also a big difference; pullips run from $80 to around $120, while bjds can run from $150 to $1000!!! 

actually, this isn't that true.
The difference between ball jointed dolls and fashion dolls, like pullips, are that ball jointed dolls are strung completely with elastic or something similar.  dolls like pullips and the like snap together with pieces.

BJDs can be made out of anything from plastic to resin to porcelain. To be on topic for doa they must be resin though.
Prices also range from about 30$ (the ABS [plastic] hujoo sueve and similar dolls) to several thousand dollars, like the much coveted volks cruise edition williams, who my friend currently has on layaway as the price is 3,500$

Yes, her wig will be glued on. You'll want to be very careful when pulling it off if you're aiming to keep it in good condition.

Pullips tend to wear 8-9 or 9-10 wigs, depending on the elastic and the fit of the wig cap. There are lots of places to buy wigs from: Cool Cat, DenverDoll, Monique, MimiWoo, Jpop Dolls, and Can Can Jseries are just a few places to look for wigs.

Some dolls just desapear from PullipStyle and then they come back, or they never come back, or they come back listed as " Sold Out" so who knows... But you can ever look on ebay and see if you can find one (new) for sale... I think that's the best thing to do in that situation...
