gray hair comparison pics?

Hey ponies


I'm working on a custom that needs to have shades of gray hair, but they need to be fairly contrasting. Can anyone provide me with a picture of dollyhair's Nickle and Raincloud side by side?

Here you go Raincloud on the left, Nickel on the right, and just because Hematite on top. Nickel has brown and yellow tones to it, where Raincloud is cooler.

Well... boo. Hematite is the right shade but it has too much of a purple hue to it - I need real nuetrals. Anyone know anywhere else I can get a dark gray? :\

Bummer. The only other color I can think of is Hi Ho Silver saran, which is more like Nickel though not quite as brown-y.

Hopefully someone else can help!
