Donated a lot of dolls; feel pretty good about it.. :)

I've been busy doing chores all day and did a lot of cleaning.  There's so many new dolls coming out that I want like some of the upcoming MH dolls and a few Bratzillaz that I decided to donate quite a bit to Goodwill and the Salvation Army.  I had to get them out of here quickly though before I changed my mind about any of them..

Anyone else do this?  I always go through my clothes every summer and donate and I do the same thing for books although some I sell back to fund new books.  I usually sell dolls but it's Christmas and I've had no interest in my MH sales so I thought it would be cool to donate them and hope that a lucky child finds them.  I donated some NRFB to Toys for Tots as well.  It feels so good to do some 'cleansing' and lighten the load!

Agreed! I've been slowly clearing out things that I don't use/need/impulse buys. I have a bunch of NRFB Barbie's (Fairytopia, pink box, Disney) and a bunch of other NRFB stuff (Hello Kitty, Sailor Moon) I'm going to wrap up and either take down to The Happy Tree or the women's shelter. It'll be better used by those they were intended for.

No. I keep things forever ;--; I found my box of figurines from when I was little, well a biscuit tin full of the,- EXCEPT THERE ARE SOME MISSING. Like my lion king figures and my finger puppet KNight from the hunch back of notre dame.

Not my dolls, since they're all on the pricier side.  I have taken lots of stuffed animals to the children's hospital or to women's shelters though.  And I donated a few NRFB G4 ponies and some stuffed animals with their tags to my work's Toys for Tots drive this year.
