You should take it off. The glue used on just about anything sticky is unstable and often acidic - it my well cause (or have already caused) discoloration of the plastic below. Get a sheet of sticker paper from some other stickers to put it on for safe keeping, or a special sticker "book". Be very gentle when prying it off, because the plastic is quite stretchy. If you pull to hard on a corner you'll distort it. Normally I heat up stickers under a desk lamp for a bit to make them easier to lift.
I'd try Goo Gone for any sticky leftovers - Goof Off specifically says it isn't intended for plastics, if I remember correctly from reading the label. Goo Gone is much kinder, I've used it on plastics without ill effects (recommend washing off any residue with dish soap and water though.)
