Diamond Rose - Symbol "Which Side?"

I have just noticed that the Diamond Rose I have seen MIB without the CD has her symbol [sorry I cant get used to "cutie mark" lol] on her right hand side but the batch I got from Taobao had her symbol on her left side...


So can I ask if you got Diamond Rose from stores what side was her symbol on?

The store ones are the opposite side of the Taobao ones. :)

TaoBao has also a "variation" of her with pink eyes, but I think that's Plumsweet's head. I'd prefer that eye color though. :P

Ahhh...thanks guys! I did wonder...the ones I had had blue eyes as per the normal release..its just the symbol side...

I had wondered if the ones with the DVD were different with the ones without the DVD but I guess not!

Sigh...its the one curse of G3 that I dislike...symbols on just one side...simply add to the confusion!

Wuuut. Which direction was she facing brand new in her box? Did the direction she was in cover or expose her cutie mark? That's just so odd!

oh! Maybe I was looking at this wrong, I thought you meant "which side when the pony is facing you" not which direction the pony faces  display side *^__^* my DR's display side, she faces right.

Tho, it appears that my DR's CM seemed to have been printed a little too low. This DR came in the mini DVD package, ordered off BBTS.

I think this is normal for the official release of DR (the Taobao one doesnt appear to be printed low on her flank though the side of her cutie mark is reversed). Every one I have seen, in person and in photos online, have her cutie mark placed in the same area.

 
Most of my other G4 pegasi also have their symbols placed a bit lower than my unicorns and earth ponies so it might be due to the wing mold? I think it is just more apparent on DR due to the shape of her mark tapering into a point. Then again someone posted pictures of their pegasi ponies who were identical save one of their cutie marks being placed way lower than the other's. ^^
