My Re-Hairing Tool Broke! HALP!

I had just started rehairing my Baby Lucky Leaf and the needle snapped!  Dollyhair seems to be behind on needles, as is pop-girl, judging from the link in the Stickied thread.

Does anyone have rehairing tools for sale?

Do you just need some new needles, or did the entire tool break somehow? I make my own needles so if you need some spares I could send you some

You can go get a pack of embroidery needles at Walmart or JoAnns for less than $2 if you want to make them yourself.  You jut need a pair of wire cutters to cut the eye of the needle at an angle and you are good to go.  Sometimes they need a little sanding too

Sometimes (a lot of the time for me) the wire cutters would either shatter the needle when I was cutting it, or just mash it. And the needles dulled the cutting edge of my wire cutters fast. I got a dremmel, and I cut and sand all of my needles by hand now.

You can do it yourself with wire cutters, but it takes some trial and error (or luck). I recommend cutting them inside a paper bag so you dont lose it when it finally cuts. If you use plastic bags, double them. The needle will fly through the bag sometimes.
