Overall I'm very happy with the commission and how it ended up; I don't really have any complaints.
- The faceup is beautiful and I couldn't be happier with it. There are no smudges, scratches, etc. Its perfect! Macabre provided WIP photos at multiple times, so I was able to give input and approval.
- Macabre had my doll for six months but nothing was started for two months, so it took closer to four months for the actual painting. Judging by her dA she finishes paid work much much faster.
- Communication here was pretty bad, but communication over deviantART was much better. I'm not sure how much of that is because of the not very good PM system here, but I wouldn't be shocked if multiple PMs were lost because of it. As a note the deal started here, but I messaged her on dA a few times about it.
- Macabre included some ponies (two customs, two G1s, and one G3) as extras to help make up for the long wait. It was very kind of her and I really appreciated it, they definitely helped make up for it.
