For me I'm totally willing to buy ponies in rough shape with two caveats.
The pony must be an earlier pony (G1 or G2) and the ponies price must reflect it's damage.
As sad as I feel for a beat up pony I'm not willing to shell out big bucks for a major fixer upper. Unfortunately a lot of people at garage sales and flea markets know just enough about MLPs to know that they are collectible and will price them all the same with no consideration for condition
