Thanks all! Unfortunately Tex and Powder have blue pen stains in their nostrils (whyyyyy!!!!) that I haven't been able to get out, and Powder's symbol is 95% gone. If anyone has any tips for getting rid of pen stains I'd love to hear them but from what I hear it's a difficult thing to accomplish!

Going to record myself opening the G2 playset tonight, I think. No idea if it'll turn out since it's my first time attempting such a thing, but I figure it's worth a try.

Shout out to my ever-so-patient boyfriend who picked this haul of G1s up for me from a local seller while I was at work today - Tex has been on my wishlist since I started collecting again in high school, and I didn't expect to find him so fast without going to the internet!

Bow Tie and Pinwheel have some super short haircuts and they're all pretty dirty, but as someone who wants to finally dip my toes into restoration, that's fine with me. Considering shipping to Canada is usually at least $25 CAD for a single pony on eBay and the like, $65 CAD for this lot seemed like a good deal to me!

On top of that, I've been lamenting recently about some of the G2 playsets I had as a kid that have been completely lost over the years. My mom tried to find all of my ponies for me, but who knows where some of it all went. The two big ones I was missing were Ivy's Pretty Parlor and Light Heart w/ her canopy bed, so... When I saw this sealed in box G2 Pretty Parlor on eBay - from a seller in my province, no less! - I simply couldn't resist.

I can't bear the idea of keeping it boxed, so I'm thinking of recording the unboxing process - I love watching unboxing videos, and I imagine there must be some G2 fans who might enjoy such a thing. We'll see how much patience I have, though - either way I'm really, really excited to open her up and relive 1998 for a minute.

Actually start restoring some of my herd! I've had a hairless Glory I've been meaning to rehair for over a decade, never bought the tools to do it so she's remained beheaded and bald for faaaar too long. I have some others joining my collection soon who need to be rehaired too, so this is the year!

Hi all - I created this account back in 2020 and then promptly forgot to post. I hung out here a bit in high school back in 2008-2009 or so, but now that I'm an adult with both income and space to collect ponies I'm falling in love with MLP all over again and wanted some pals to chat and geek out with!

My name's Levi (he/him), I'm thirty and I've been a pony fan since I was about five when I got my first G2s - most of which I still have today! Shortly after that my dad picked up a huge bag of G1s from a garage sale and I've been in love with them ever since. ♥

My favourite G1s are the Teeny Tiny Babies and Big Brother ponies - both of which I need more of.

Besides my small-ish collection of G1s and G2s, I also collect 1998 Furbies and dabble with collecting Sony AIBO, Tamagotchi, and Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters. Other than collecting toys, I'm also an illustrator, so I'm sure I'll be posting some pony art here in no time ♥
