Introductions / Sundazzle series fan from Australia« on: April 01, 2020, 05:12:19 AM »
Hi everyone,
Thank you for welcoming me into the community. I've been a My Little Pony girl my whole life and being in Australia, I found it difficult throughout my childhood ('90s) to have decent access to the toys and TV series, so I used to obsessively watch the 1986 movie and bring my Sundazzle Sunbeam everywhere with me until she was destroyed (not by me and I've never gotten over it which is why I replaced her recently ). My favourite as a kid was Firefly and to this day, I am still obsessed with the G1 Sundazzle ponies: Sunbeam, Sunglory and Sunsplasher. I spent from 1992 onwards trying to collect them all and just never seemed to be able to find them. MLP was a great help to me growing up with a physically abusive father. My Sunbeam and the movie (and the few occasions I got to see the series and get more ponies) provided the perfect escape into fantasy and even today, provide a great deal of solace. Since I got Sunbeam again, I just hold her and smell her all the time. It's the smell of my childhood! Anyway, thanks for having me!
