My other introduction didn't pass muster, so here goes.

I'm over 50, live in the United States, and am gay.
Am also very private, so sharing personal details is not something I like doing.
The mods should realize that not everyone is socially able to be as open as they suggest in the rules.
For some people, opening up is not healthy.

Important people in my life are those who are (relatively) selfless and fight for the rights of others.

Have been collecting on and off, as I get pieces that speak to me, not specific lines.
I have some customs I got off ebay, too.
I rode horses some growing up, and feel close to horses and dogs.

Again, I'm very private, and hope that people will respect that.
