Well, having been "forced" to register, I did give it an honest shot at being active here. I believe that lurkers and passive members are dead weight and not good for building a community, but being muffled by the new members' posting limit I guess an active membership is not an option for me. I am not very good at waiting when I see so many topics I could have contributed to. When I can't chime in the moment I read a question I know the answer to, I tend to just drop it and not return to that topic later. I heard about the massive influx of new members and their jolly posting - based on personal experience with running forums, I believe that more moderators (eg. dedicated to specific sub forums) would perhaps be a better solution than keeping new members from taking part? Compared to a meetup, you wouldn't have it in a glass cage with newer collectors forced to sit on the outside for the first three events, silently observing? My two cents, and an explanation to why I withdraw to lurker mode.

I only purchase furniture and such, for my tiny BJDs. A local toy store imports copies of SF/CC houses directly from China, it's identical but not with wiring or wallpapers. And of course, cheaper..

Neat! They will probably fit some of the slimmer (and smaller) MSD sized BJDs as well.

One of my oldies, Street. Spunkiest Pullip there was.

I've always loved Street - she is my semi-grail.
She's quite unique, I reckon, but her stock faceup is not the most intricate around..! I have halfway enhanced it, and spray matted her face, and I will do another try at giving it some more finesse as soon as spring allows MSC spraying outdoors. I quite like the type 1 bodies, even with the massive number of visible screws... :)

skyrocketneko, I love the wig you've given your Peter Pan!

Edited to add a pic of my custom Nero (this _is_ a picspam topic, after all!)

My Soom Dune got her wig today, from Spite & Malice. Horrible light for a pic, but I couldn't wait to share:

Her faceup is by UnsrawJaws (flickr).

Flaileigh XD Notdolls are such lovely sculpts though they can look extremely derpderp at some times. Here's mine:

Omg! Your Argeia is so pretty~ Mine is currently out for a face-up. Not enough people have the NotDoll love~ =^_^=
Oh, but I do! ;) Mine's the most "normal" looking mold, though.

Thanks, both of you. Yep, Pullips were what got me hooked, but I've since (5 years in the hobby) collected a broad collection of dolls, from (Asian) fashion dolls through BJDs to Monster High. Ever so curious! ;)

Have to admit that I signed up in order to be able to view photos in certain topics, not quite sure why admin chose to set things up that way (surely the padded member list must clutter up the database?), but it's no big deal to register so here goes. Not really a MLP fan, although - as my ava indicates - at least I have one to show for. ;)

Anyway, have fun with the ponies, and thanks for having me! :) I promise to behave well. And even write the odd post about dolls, who knows? *waves to Pullip friends*
