This show was brief (it only ran for a year apparently) but I do remember watching it. There was also a doll/toy line as well. Was anyone else a fan Princess Gwenevere & the Jewel Riders? Any collectors out there that have some (or all) of the dolls/toys?

I've never minded the traditional Barbie doll, I had lots as a kid and never wanted to be like her particularly.  But I do understand that a lot of little girls do struggle with body image.  Personally, I think that the "normal" prototype is pretty sexy herself.  I like her booty.  My only issue is her head/neck.  Either the neck is too thick or the head's too small, I can't put my finger on it.  But something is goofy.

Yeah I agree...something is off :-/ and Barbie is a beautiful doll. I would much prefer my daughter playing with her versus Bratz or Monster High dolls. Sorry if you're a fan of Bratz or Monster High but that's just my opinion :)

Omgosh I love the lime green wall! It really makes the ponies pop in color!

My ponies currently are displayed on the top of my tv -_-

I live in a studio apartment so it's very limited on space. I hope to be moving soon though! :freak:

We recently had to temporally close the site for a full revamp of the underlining coding/programing to make it more secure and complete! We are going to try to get it back open by September. :3 Hope to see you all there! ^^

Aww dang I got excited when I clicked the link! I love goats! I used to have one back in the day

Thanks! She will actually end up being a grey! Her Sire was white as snow.

Did you ever work out whether your horse was bitten?

I'd love to see pictures of her as she sheds out and turns grey! :) I love foals and I sure do miss working with them for I used to work at an equine reproduction center as an intern/vet tech.

Anyway, I have no idea what my horse got into or what got to my horse. He was on bute and banamine for 2 days and then on just banamine for another 3 days. His tongue turned brown and I could see scab-like spots on the tip of his tongue (can't remember if I shared this on my thread or not?). Anyway, he is doing much better now - the swelling seems to be completely gone as well as his brown tongue and scabs. Thank the Lord! :freak:

However, I did walk his pasture and found a couple of poisonous plants along the fence lines such as nightshade and angel's trumpet! I uprooted all the nightshade that I could find and picked up the fallen flowers from the angel's trumpet tree. I don't know if he consumed a toxic plant or if he got bitten by something...I am leaning towards more that he got bitten by something because he didn't show any of the signs listed as if he was suffering from a toxic plant :wonder:

Thank you for asking! :)

and blame the parents for children that do not have manners.

I don't and do agree with that at the same time. Granted, a lot of kids I've run into are spoiled little Grade A brats. But, like my child and many others like him, I work with him 24/7 about manners and how to act in public. But with his "disabilities", sometimes he just gets so overwhelmed and overstimulated that it seems like he has no manners. He's being disrespectful, screaming at me, ordering me around. But, that isn't all him. That's part of the Oppositional Defiance Disorder. Even a 2 minute trip into the store to grab milk can be a World War 3 type of fight.

One good thing about how my son is, he has taught me to not be judgemental of other people's screaming kids. Lol. I just give those parents/guardians smiles of encouragement. I wish more people would do that for me, instead of commenting on how horrible my son is, or how I need to spank him or something.

Jus' think about that next time you think a kid doesn't have manners. It could be a disorder or disability that affects them in such a way. :(  (More times than not though... it's a perfectly normal brat, haha.)

Please don't think I'm attacking you or anything. I'm just hoping to give you another perspective of looking at kids and their parents.

Oh no I don't think you're attacking me at all! And honestly, I will think differently now - I have thought about possibly disabilities before, but they aren't the first thing that cross my mind when I'm around a misbehaving child. Thank you for opening up my eyes in that regards.

Now I was in a store just this week and this little girl bit her brother and latched on. The brother then proceeded to cry and the little girl was drug out of the store. THAT is what I call ill-mannered even though I know that children can go through a biting phase. I am pretty sure that this wasn't a disability issue?

I can empathize. I have walked so many times through Walmart with Briar screeching. The looks... I always want to yell. "Look! She doesn't like the lights in here. They make a funny noise and are too bright. I am shopping as fast as I can! Believe me. I want her out of here, too. Probably more than all you staring people do!" I usually just politely smile at people and say something like, "Eh, she's having a rough morning."

LOL wow she really doesn't like the lights? At least you don't scream back at your child. I can't stand parents that scream at their children in public. If I misbehaved in a store when I was a child, my mother would say "now on the count of 3 if you don't settle down I am taking you to the bathroom" - and well there are memories of my mother dragging my little sister or I to the bathroom and making us stand against the wall until we settled down. My mom said people would give her strange looks as if she was abusing us, but she never laid a hand on us or yelled at us.
