Introductions / This is me! You've been warned. :)

Hello!
My name is Jenn, everyone calls me that and im used to it so I don’t suppose I mind being called my real name. I am 37 years old, I live in Washington State, USA and I work at one of the biggest resort casinos in Western Washington. I basically just answer phones at the hotel and give people toothbrushes, woohoo! I am starting art school in the fall, and yes I know, pft art school but without tooting my own horn, I like to think im talented enough to make something of it. I’m majoring in Illustration with a future plan to perhaps work in the film/tv industry for concept art or even perhaps a company, such as Hasbro (fangirl moment) for concept/toy design.
The most important people in my life are my husband and daughter, and even though no one asked my cats and my birds because they are people to me too. My daughter always laughs at how much I love ponies (shes only 7) but she loves it because she always gets to play with all the stuff im playing with. 😊
Ive actually not been collecting long in my adult life, but it started again as an adult because I found a tootie tails at the local goodwill and I had a huge flood of childhood memories that finding her again had brought me. As far as I can recollect, she was the last pony I had as a kid before I grew up and gave up on ponies and dreams – so she is special to me and my favorite.
I mostly collect G1 and G2, and im not a particularly picky collector but I do enjoy the hunt. I prefer to find them in the wild or in lot auctions, I have a lot more fun going through the lots than buying them one at a time. I do collect some G3 ponies because my sisters played with them a lot and they are just adorable!
I don’t have a fancy collection by any means, but I do have a couple of ponies that are my special ones, as mentioned above my first one, the tootie tails that started it all. Some highlights are, my mimic, shes nice but not anywhere near perfect, I have my night glider -- shes one of my favorites. I also have lots of other ponies, too many to list, I probably have thousands in totes just waiting for me to put them out. I do have a lot of g3 and g4 ponies mostly just to sell one day – I get a lot of them with the lots I buy.
My main pony passion is customs and rehairs, I love finding creative new ways to take ponies that are destined for the bin and turning them into something beautiful and loved again. And I love learning how to do new things with them and helping others figure out new techniques and way to do customs and stuff and sharing my creations with everyone else!
