So here she is . . . my very first custom, Lemon Blue. I'm not sure why Lemon, my three year old told me her name, but I like it, so there ya go. She's based on a DG fakie baby painted with craft acrylics and haired with hair from a cheap Halloween wig and some colored clip in hair extensions. (I was impatient to start and also didn't want to lay out a lot of money for the first one so I mostly used stuff I had lying around!  ) She's got some crazy hair that I haven't been able to do much with, but I think I might like it that way anyway. She's not how I envisioned her, I keep seeing things I wish were different, but overall I'm very pleased and I Love her!

I'm working on another one that is green with a tree theme. My order came from Dollyhair, so hopefully I'll have her done soon. This is SO much fun!

Hello all! My name is Leigh Ann, I'm *mumble mumble* years old  and I've loved Ponys since they first came out. I've got a really vivid memory of the first time I saw a commercial for them and HAD to have one, as well as when my mom actually took me to get one, a Butterscotch I still have! As I grew up and the Ponys got, well, lamer (imo, no offense meant!) I drifted away, but then I was convinced to watch some FiM and then found customs, and now I'm hooked all over again. I don't really consider myself a collector, exactly, but that's liable to change, lol, and having tried my hand at making customs, I'm definitely into that. I've really been enjoying nosing around the Arena, and I'm looking forward to learning more (I'm SUCH a noob) and getting to know you guys and talking lots of Ponys!
