Pony Corral / Re: Pinkie Pie's Boutique meets Equestria Girls? Old News?
« on: August 23, 2013, 08:54:32 PM »
The sign underneath does indeed mention a November release, though I wouldn't be surprised if we see it sooner. It looked like it was just advertising the whole boutique line was coming in November, even though Target (Canada) has already announced the toys in a recent flier and they were spotted on shelves too. Time will tell.

About the articulation, I didn't even think to check if she was articulated onsite, but I zoomed in and it does look like the legs can indeed be posed. They did the same thing with Sunset Shimmer (though arms, instead of legs), so I guess it isn't too far-fetched.

I'm also pretty tempted with her. I think it's the clothes which grab me the most, the heart shirt is really cute and I love the little ankle boots. I wonder if she could fit in the car that came with Black Tie Pinkie.

I happened to notice this little oddity at Hasbro's booth at FanExpo today. I haven't heard of, or seen her before, so I'm not sure if she is old news or not. Thought I should share just in case.

Excuse the terrible quality, my cell phone camera is not the best.

Edit:

Close up shot, it looks like she is semi-articulated:

This is the first time I've actually wanted to buy an EQG doll. Seriously, it would make a great display/conversation piece.

It looks like the pony Celestia is missing her detachable cutie mark in the first box too.

Pony Corral / Re: Is this the new head mold?

I'm not entirely sure about the head mold, I still can't really tell the difference (and I have yet to buy any ponies with the new heads to compare), but I'm inclined to believe yes because she lost the gradient in her eyes which I believe started happening when they introduced the diamond eyes.

Ah, I've been waiting for news about if these will be in Canada since it isn't easy for me to check out target myself. So glad to hear that we'll have access to the Target exclusives too. Thanks for letting us know.

Introductions / Re: Greetings

Thank you all for the warm welcomes! I'm already loving the friendly attitude in these forums, and of course, all the ponies!

kiwimlp-My admiration for customs evolved into longing for some of my own. It seems like such a fun hobby so I can't help but want to try it out for myself.

ponyluv85m-I'm definitely ready to find some older gen ponies for my collection. I'm already planning trips to some nearby flea markets and thrift stores. My wallet is not going to be very happy with me.

Diamond-I'd be glad to send over all the maple syrup. Haha. No breakfast is complete without some good ol' syrup.

Hello fellow MLP fans. I've been a long time admired of MLP customs (longer than I've liked MLP in general admittedly, people can make some beautiful ponies!) which is the main reason which brought me to this site. I love browsing through and admiring customs, and am really inspired to make a few myself.

A bit about me, I'm from the land of bagged milk, hockey, and maple syrup (Canada). I'm currently in college studying game art and design, which eats up the majority of my time at the moment. Art and stories are pretty well my aspirations.

As hinted above, MLP wasn't a part of my childhood. Friendship is Magic is what really got me interested in the franchise, and my collection is pretty much compromised of G4 toys. However, I've come to take a liking to the older gen toys and would like to eventually welcome some to my humble herd.

I'm pretty internet shy and will more often than not be a lurker, though I do hope to get to know and befriend you all.  :)

I can't think of much else to say for now, so I'll end it here for now.

Al
