Thanks! Yea the pink one is literally the ugliest one I think I've ever seen.  I feel bad for some of the remcos other people are using.  They are kind of cute.

I felt bad for them too but mine was so scummy and gross there was no way to save her without customizing her!

if you go with the cafe idea this store might give you some ideas.  It's a japanese store that sells used 80s girly everything.  They have mlps and anything cute and 80s and early 90s and inspired by those eras.  Unfortunately most of thier pictures are of the clothing but if you look at the backgrounds it may be helpful.  they have alot of ikeaish box shelves painted pastel colors and other vintage shelving and storage unit things all in pastels.

try to eat healthier in the cafeteria... aka stay away from hot dogs, burgers, grilled cheese and the like.  cut back on mt dew... i only drink 1/day but still... too much.

WHY
What are your reasons for wanting to get into better shape and play with us in this journey?
I have been through a lot this past year and gained a lot from stress and pigging out.  I don't want my weight from 2 summers ago because i now am curvy and will never lose that much, but i want to be healthier. I want to fit in my pants.  I want to wear clothes other than my tees (although that may not be possible with my new "curves".. ^__^)  I want to feel better about myself and not feel gross.  I also have a family history of obesity and diabetes and i dont want to start out young with that kind of stuff so im nipping it in the bud. This is really just good motivation and help to get me going and keep going... i hope!

But I feel alienated from my own fandom due to bronies.

I agree with this statement.  It is peculiar having the same guys that teased me in elementary school loving ponies now.  I believe that these guys never did grow up and have the same bad habit of making fun of anything different.  That is why i dont think they should have ever called her Pony.  If that term was around back then they would have called me and many other kids that and i don't think its right.  I also do not think it is appropriate for any little kid.  I mean we cant keep them in the dark forever, but alot of these kids go through enough as it is!  My mom works as a nurse for a center city school and it makes me cry some of the things that happen to these poor kids because of reckless and irresponsible adults.  To these kids FiM offers a haven.  A place to be happy and seclude themselves from the horrible things happening to and around them.  To have something like this in a kids show is not right.  If they have parents like the one's im talking about there will be no one to tell them what Pony is, what is wrong and how to act around people like that.  They probably will end up using the term, not knowing what it is, and hurting another kid.  Kids are cruel, but they only get that way from all the cruel things around them.
