Where did you find it? It's hilarious and I want one.

I believe that the first name is the name that should be the most meaningful, it's the name that your child will likely live up to (almost everyone I know completely lives up to the meaning of their first name).

Interesting. I don't think that really applies to everyone. I can think of a dozen people right away who don't live up to their name. My sister is as far from her name meaning as hot is from cold.  I think if the name has a generic enough meaning you can find those characteristics in people, but not every person who's name means wisdom is going to be wise or even smart.  Or have an ounce of sense. ;)  there are a LOT of Sophias being born right now and they are all different people.

Then there are names that mean things like island, flower, day, morning, colors, and places.  It's hard to say Marguerite lives up to being a Daisy-type flower.  Or Pearl lives up to being a shiny object made inside an oyster by a piece of sand and oyster secretions.  Or Marina is from the sea. She might hate the water and be born in the desert.

I'm actually like that, myself. My name means "Poet" and I'm an engineer .

Pony Corral / Re: Pony Mania Ponies found in box!

Since this set only has six ponies compared to the seven of the earlier Fan Favorite sets, I wonder if it'll cost less than the last two. I'm honestly looking forward to getting these.  Sure, the designs could be a little more thought out, but I like them, especially RD. And getting different versions of the Mane 6 doesn't bother me.

Although, I can picture these things being on the shelves for a loooong time, like the giant talking Princess Twilight.

Pony Corral / Re: Some new fakies - funny little dolls!

If you look at the dolls, they have little loops on their shoulders as if they were meant to be strung on a necklace.

They have GOT to be stolen molds from something!

I just noticed that. You have a good eye. When I saw them, I was too busy trying to gouge them out.

I think "Rarity" can have a nice ring as a middle name, but I personally wouldn't do anything obviously pony-related.  Although, I would say Cadance is a nice name as well, but it's already a name, even if it's usually spelled Cadence.

While she was ultimately cut from the movie, she lives on in the deleted scenes and sketches and in the hearts of everyone who likes slightly psycho fire breathing, man eating colorful ponies.

Why have they not made a cartoon about this yet? That sounds awesome!  Also, very nice work.

I think Celestia finally caved into those constant emails she was getting for horn enlargement.

I can't really talk about the toys, since I only have G4, don't really want much of anything from other gens, so I'll just go with the tie-in cartoons, in which case it's G3/3.5, for me, definitely.

I don't hate it (apart from Newborn Cuties), but it's just cutesy fluff with next to no substance. However, there are some bits that are absolutely hilarious, like RD acting like G4 Rarity and saying "Daahling" all the time.  It is also excellent to riff on with friends.

I can't say for sure, but I think the first pony I bought was the Blind Bag Twilight here. I may have bought it with a Fluttershy as well, but I do not remember. Although I started watching MLP about six months before I started buying the merch.

It's kind of funny, when I started to get into this, I said to myself "Okay, I'll watch the show, but I'm not buying any of the toys."  Then I got a few blind bags and I told myself, "Okay, I'll get blind bags, but no brushables." Then I got a Celestia/Pinkie pack. And when EqG came out, I thought, "Okay, I'll buy lots of kinds of pony merch, but I am not getting a doll." It wasn't until last month that I cracked and got one. Although in that case, they stopped looking creepy to me and actually sort of cute, in some cases.

I've only seen the Rarity tins at Target. There should be plenty if the ones around my area are any indication.

The Luna tins were exclusive to Walmart, if memory serves.  They may have sold out already, they came out a few months ago, and stuff like this sells fast, especially considering it's Luna.

I highly doubt that they are exclusives. Sometimes Kmart's website shows stuff early, like the blind bag set with Animation Error Pony and Thunderlane.

I don't think these Princesses will turn up in the show.  Usually when they do, they have box art with a unique vector of them.  Their box art are just Celestia recolors.  It is neat to see some new characters, but these designs give me a "bad Alicorn OC" vibe.

That Luna is absolutely gorgeous, but I bet they'll get more pre-orders than they can produce the day she's put up on their site, so I probably won't be able to get my hands on one unless I keep checking.

Hopefully, this means they'll make a Celestia and Cadance one eventually, but considering it took them this long release Luna, the most obsessed-over pony in the whole fandom, I wouldn't hold my breath.  But at least if/when those two come out, I stand a chance of getting my hands on them.

Here's the bulk of my pony collection, as well as my die-cast cars.  It's pretty crowded now (there's two rows of blind bags behind the brushables), but soon (maybe later this month) I'll have some shelves made so I can display my ponies better.
