I know that aquarium goldfish are susceptible to a swelling condition called " dropsy". If thier scales look like a pinecone, that's cause foe concern.

It really could be any number of things, though, including a belly full of eggs.

Whenever I had Goldfish trouble, I'd check placeslike Koko's Goldfish Forum. They're very nice, knowledgable folks!

One: These pictures are adorable. And they're not farts! Yay! :)

Two: This is the first thread I've read with this new "fart" word filter we have going on. "Cheer me up - fart pics!" ... Happy (early for some) April Fool's Day? I can't... I can't stop laughing.

The sellers do know about the demand, I'm sure... When I asked BuyFromTaoBao about it, they said that they had over 200 orders for :muffin: Pony. Stroggos indicated that they are in contact with one of the sellers to fill that demand. Perhaps this is the case!

Moldable epoxy is sometimes sold in tubes, with the two compounds rolled together. Smooshing it around and warming it with your hands mixes it and starts the reaction. It can usually be found at hardware stores. The " big two" in the USA sell them, but I'm not sure where folks elsewhere would go to get it.

I am not sure if it's legal to mail or not. It isn't particularly harmful or anything, but I'd advise anybody shipping it to include the original container, at least. :)

Celestia's new name is totally Mr. Clinton as far as I'm concerned. :P

I don't play anymore and haven't in... erm, probably a good decade but my account is 11 years old. God, I can't believe I was still in high school when I made that account (14 years old). I am now 26 going on 27.... *twitch*

I also remember spending an obscene amount of time trying to get goodies from the money tree before it became a clustercuss of people and thus impossible to get anything lol.

I know how you feel! Where has the time gone? Neopia's population exploded a while back, but I remember refreshing the page for hours on end to find cool stuff. ;)

"Clustercuss" also just might be the best word ever. I must work it into my vernacular!

I believe that the seller might just have been ignorant of the original appearance of these ponies. Possibly, they do not understand that these toys were sold with much longer hair. Maybe the hair in the photo was wet because they'd just given these items a courtesy wash before putting them up on eBay.

Their response bothers me, though. It seems a little rude. Perhaps they read your own tone incorrectly and felt the need to become excessively defensive. I do think that their description of "excellent" is a little misleading, and your request for a partial refund is not at all unreasonable.

If it makes you uncomfortable to push the issue, it might be worth trying to resell them, like RockinPrettyBeats suggested. You very well could come out ahead if you listed them individually, because you could find some buyers who are interested in buying these pieces for restoration or rehairing. :)

Oh man. I remember NeoPets. I always wanted to work for them.

I tried to return a couple years ago, but by then, Viacom had bought it and made it ad central. :(

I think I found my oldest account. 11.5 years! They really should bring back the Mellish, and the Macy_Gray.

Wanted! / PENDING ... Looking for 2012 McDonald's Applejack
« on: March 28, 2012, 08:31:14 PM »
Hi everyone!

I'm looking for an Applejack or two from the U.S. 2012 McDonald's My Little Pony promotion! I missed out on her, and it looks like the McDonald's restaurants in my area are winding down.

If anybody has any for sale, let me know! Likewise, if you'd like to trade for a Cheerilee from this same promotion... I have several Cheerilees. Let's talk. :P

Thanks for readin'!

UPDATE: I think I'm all set now. Thanks, all! :)

This Luna looks awesome! I hope she gets an actual release. Thanks for sharing!

There's a wingless G4 Rainbow Dash Fashion Style and a half-Rarity, half-Celestia pony kicking around TaoBao, too. I... They're... Awesome.  :P

Man!Pony was awesome. :P

No, but really... I kinda like the variety of pony shapes in FIM. Not everyone's a looker. ;)

One of my favorite submissions for this contest features the G4 Mane Six with their nearest G1 counterparts. :) No harm in trying!

Sounds like quite the conundrum! Sorry to single you out specifically, Stroggos! You just really seemed to have your act together (and you did!). ;) I didn't mean to weasel that intel out of ya', but I'm quite glad that you shared it with us!

The seller could be giving the TaoBao folks inconsistent information as well. If this -is- something that won't go into full production, then it's probably difficult to get them off the line.
