That's one of the awesome things about France! You can drive without a license in the microcars. I'd be too scared I'd end up on a tollway with people zipping along doing 130km/h!

You can get an idea of this when you look at "The Art Of" books for various animated movies. You'll notice a lot of characters looked vastly different in the early stages and the images vary in style and quality based on the artist.

Has anyone seen the art book for the latest MLP movie?! This is quite true - it shows the transitions from original animated ponies to the movie animations, and it also shows the original concepts for the new characters, and some of them were waaayyy off of what they ended up being. If it can happen within one generation of MLP, it can certainly happen when transferring to a new generation. They can do whatever they like, change concepts as much as they like because it's a clean slate. No-one is supposed to see it, so it doesn't actually matter if a concept pony started out as a pink pegasus and ended up a blue unicorn. No one is ever going to know to be upset about it, so they can change it as much as they like!

Well the field is called "Item Location". It's not like it's vague and just says Location.

I'd message them back and say that you'd like a refund when it's returned to them for not picking it up from customs. That you had no intention of buying from outside the country due to customs fees, and that by entering the item location as Spain, you were mislead. You wish to purchase an item that is already within Spain.

Pony Corral / Re: Question about G4 Feathermay
« on: December 18, 2017, 11:40:33 PM »
I got my Feathermay as the mystery gift with my season one DVD collector's edition, so she was in her bubble on card, inside the collector's case box, so no sunfading, and she has severe mismatch. To me, that's the ultimate evidence that she was made that way at the factory. She wasn't hanging on a store peg for years, or laying around in the light. She went from the Hasbro packaging factory to the madman packaging factory, then to the warehouse and directly to me as a preorder.

My feedback would be neutral - because feedback should reflect the experience, not just the item. I'd comment that they answered a query in a rude manner, and that you won't be a returning customer. If I was in a physical store, and the prices were high, but the items amazing, and I questioned the price to a staff member and they said that, I wouldn't give them good feedback. I always try to compare the experience to a brick and mortar purchase - because shopping online shouldn't be unpleasant, just because it's online! Being online doesn't make your questions any less valid (I've heard plenty of dumb questions in retail, and those staff members still remain professional!!).

I have a system, so as long as I remember the decade right, I'm good. It's 2017, so I'm 28 this year. Just add one to the last number of the year. I do have to refer to that pretty frequently though! My hubby has no idea how old he is at any given time, I have to work it out and tell him! He's 34.

Pony Corral / Re: Any other merch with this really cute art style?
« on: December 12, 2017, 11:28:50 AM »
I just saw a beach towel with that Rarity & Twilight graphic on ebay. It musn't be available here though, because it was one of those ebay scalpers who was selling it for nearly $200AUD. As if! I also bought some stickers with that Rarity vector yesterday, but the style had been cleaned up to match the other graphics, so not the same style anymore, really.

Firstly, CONGRATS! What an awesome find!

Secondly... If you decide to clean up the G3's, maybe a de-tinseling is in order, then you could be able to straighten the hair back to silky if you're lucky. De-tinselling can be tedious, but it can make a difference with G3's with bad hair. Don't try to heat that iridescent tinsel though, whatever you do - it'll just shrink up unless it's REALLY low heat - too low to help the rest of the hair.

Such a gorgeous pony! I adore blue ponies, so I'm super appreciative of her particular brand of monotone!

Trader & Shipping Support / Re: Ebay-Why Aren't Buyers Leaving Feedback?!
« on: December 12, 2017, 02:13:42 AM »
^^ this. The new feedback page is a pain in the rear. I also am a fan of batch rating, because I tend to batch buy, and once I have everything together at home ready for purpose, I go and rate the things I bought. Don't get me wrong, I still do it, but it's so tedious!

Pony Corral / Re: What is your favourite G4 thing to collect?
« on: December 11, 2017, 01:33:19 AM »
For me it's the original style, regular-sized brushables mostly. I also love the comic books, I collect the trade paperback editions. I also love books with the non-vector art, such as the 'Under the Sparkling Sea' book, and I also have an art book for the movie which is really beautiful. Oh and the blindbags, but only the actual blindbags, the ones with cards. The new ones have mini catalogues, (not to mention drawn-on wings!) so I'm about to stop buying them I think.

Cool! Your avatar is beautiful by the way!

Thanks! It's by Witch, she's amazing! Her thread is temporarily closed right now, but keep an eye on it: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,389138.0/topicseen.html
