Cotton Candy :lovey: Couldn't just pick one out of the remaining ponies so left it at that. I would have voted for Bow Tie too but she's not on there. Cotton Candy and Bow Tie were my very first ponies :lovey:

Haha I loved it when I was little! I was on it once, I was part of a caterpillar. Was great fun.

I'm not sure how interesting you'll find them, but Toybox Philosopher has several Makie reviews. The first one includes some other brands of clothing they can wear so that might be helpful if you end up keeping her :)

I'm glad I could help! Unfortunately, that's about all I know about Makies.  Taxel is right though.  Toy Box Philosopher has a lot of information about them.

Thank you both, I'll go have a look at the links :)

Sounds really interesting. No idea what I can contribute as I have no video editing skills whatsoever.

I absolutely love that Sia son...I'm a metalhead, and sing rock covers. I really, really want to cover that song, just listened to it three times on the trot  Actually there is an open mic in a couple of weeks...I could do an acoustic version then... :good: I am even more excited for the film now.

They are mid 70s I think, possibly earlier. As you know they would have been chained together. They are ornaments. You commonly get deer and cats in the same sort of pose, a mother and two offspring, all chained togther. I used to have some orange lucite deer :)

Show me your pony castles!

From G1 all the way through to now, I love pony castles. I have regular release Dream Castle, the two G3 castles and a couple of G4 castles. I really would love lavender DC and the G2 castle one day. I really wish the G4 castles were as good as the older ones. They are just so...unsubstantial :(

Here is me aged 8 with my DC. A looooooooooooooong time ago.

She is! Thank you so much Brightberry  :)

I'll have to do some research - I need some feet for her for starters!

Post Merge: September 13, 2017, 03:37:48 PM

So I have had a look online and it seems like last year MakieLab sold out to Disney. So there goes my chance of getting feet for her. Or another one...not that I need another one of course...

I have an original t-shirt and boots for her, no pants though.

I also managed to find a picture of the doll I have. Now I thought you chose skin colour/eye shape/clothes/hair etc yourself so the chances of getting two the same were slim. Where there 'standard' dolls made? Does anyone have any other interesting info for me please? I am trying desperately to not fall in love with her!

I'm trying to decide if I want to watch this when it comes out or not. I'll probably have to go on my own, which doesn't bother me, but I don't want to feel like it's a waste of money. Some of the scenes though look like they will be awesome on a big screen... The other thing is the UK is highly unlikely to get all the cinema goodies that go along with the film, which is frustrating. Will definitely be getting it when it comes out on DVD though - hopefully for Xmas.

I had loads <3 Including Cotton Candy, Bow Tie, Gusty, Blossom, Gypsy, Strawberry Fair, Tiny Bubbles, Sweetie, Fireball, Peachy, Honeysuckle, Majesty, the Apple Delight Family (Mummy, Daddy, son and daughter) Baby Half Note, Baby Bow Tie, Baby Cotton Candy, Baby Tiddlywinks, Applejack, Bubbles, Wind Whistler, Masquerade, Trucker, Lemon Drop and Baby Lemon Drop, Lickety Split, Confetti, Rosedust, Dibbles and Nibbles, Magic Hat or Mirror Mirror (I can not remember which one, I possible had both), nd the white Pony Club baby. I know I had some princesess - I think definitely Princess Pearl and maybe another one, though I don't remember having any of the dragons apart from Spike. I remember playing with lots of others but my cousin and my friends all had ponies, so I don't know if the others I can think of were theirs.

My favourite word is 'puffling'. It's a baby puffin and has to be the cutest word in the world :D
