I hope Target does continue to carry them. At the moment though in the last week as I have been out shopping, I have noticed at multiple Targets near me the MLP tag has been removed completely from the retro end cap.

I used to work at Disney World so...yes. I've performed in the Candlelight Processional Cast Choir with various stars as the narrator.

I performed in the Candlelight Processional Cast Choir too for several years at Disneyland. Working in Entertainment for 6 years I met more celebrities than I honestly can remember. Some of them are very nice, some are okay, and some are just not kind.

Pony Corral / Re: G1 - Cleaning Question - How do you get the tail back in?
« on: February 07, 2021, 10:18:41 AM »
Maybe it’s just me, but it makes the plastic of the bottom flex a bit, and I’m always a little bit worried about making a split. We want the pony to have a tail, not a plumbers crack. It’s never happened to me but I’m not taking any chances either lol.

LOL..... good point though.

The washer I was able to wipe off the grime and it looks clean now but I'm not sure if I want to put it back on. The metal clamp holding the hair looked fine when I pulled it out yesterday (I left it on the hair). Isn't it just the washer that tends to be the most problematic piece in regards to rusting? What would be the harm in leaving the washer off?

Pony Corral / G1 - Cleaning Question - How do you get the tail back in?
« on: February 06, 2021, 07:18:45 PM »
A dumb cleaning question I know. How do you get the tail back in the pony after you decide to remove the washer?

So I bought used a So Soft Paradise today and decided to try and clean the flocking (which I have never tried before). So I rubbed her down gently with Dawn and ended up getting her pretty wet. I noticed the head was a little loose and figured what the heck so tugged it a little and it popped right off. So now that I can see the washer, decided it looks a little icky (again, never done this before). So now that she is set out in pieces to dry, I'm wondering how you get the tail back in? I have already looked at the mlp preservation project links.

The Worlds Smallest MLP came out in spring of 2019. As LadyAmalthea listed, there were 3 sets available for a total of 6 ponies.

Pony Corral / Re: Ponies through Disney's Build-a-Pony?

I think they may have released already boxed/dressed ponies in Disney outfits and I think Pinkie Pie and Kimono were in that set but I never got any of those so I'm not sure which others may have been released that way.

*goes to internets* :arena:

According to

http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Category:Disney_Princess_Ponies

they were Pinkie Pie, Kimono, Minty and Sparkleworks.  But I don't know if they came with the shoes.  The pictures on the site don't show them with shoes.

The dressed versions wore a cloak and princess hat with the character name. They did not come with shoes. There were shoes available as part of the outfits you could buy as Pokeyonekenobie listed above.

What annoyed me at the time was that the Build-a-Pony outfits were only sold at WDW. I really had hoped they would put one in Downtown Disney at Disneyland but no. So had to buy the outfits via Ebay.

Take the tinsel out of the G1 princess ponies hair (and all other pony hair).

Even as a kid, I loathed that tinsel. When I opened Princess Primrose, I remember hating the kinks and straggly strands of the tinsel and then promptly braided her hair and it was that way ever since.

Okay so I just did a double take cruising down the Big Bad Toy Store website. Now there are even more crossover ponies coming out beyond the first four. Twister, Lite-Brite and a Dungeons & Dragons Set. Thoughts?

I actually do like one of the Dungeons & Dragons Set, but not going to buy them for that much, and if only they had actual hair. Does anyone own these? Kind of curious what "Woodheart the Kind" looks like in person out of the box.

I have been away from the forum for a couple months now, so this may have been answered somewhere already.

Did Lickety-Split, Cherries Jubilee, Tootsie and Posey ever come out?

I found 3 out of 4 at Target finally yesterday. Still missing Sparkler. At least they are starting to show up though.

Always a gamble opening boxes and as others have said, box condition (bent corners, scratches etc) matters a lot more.
Another thing I would consider though is that a LOT of us bought it and have them MIB. So down the road there are going to be a lot of MIB ones out there or in collections already. You can always return it to the box later if you chose to sell it. For some things it is possible to sell one in great condition in an open box for almost the same as MIB. It all comes down to supply and demand at the time you choose to sell. Personally, I have sold various 90's Barbie dolls in un-played with condition in their original box and packaging (having previously been opened and on display for a short time) for the same price or almost the same as a sealed MIB one.

My Target finally got in the latest unicorns and Pegasus!  I was starting to worry because they had filled the usual spot with a card game but on my last visit I found them on another end cap 2 down with no tag.

Mine did the same thing, other products have been in the MLP space for months now. I was able to get 3 out of 4. Just missing Sparkler now.

Barbie has had a lot of Jeeps. Some of them were purple and some did have flower stickers.

Your flutters are gorgeous.

I would definitely buy reproduction flutters from Basic Fun. I have bought everything else so far and I am loving being able to get new G1 ponies.
