Introductions / Re: New Fellow Collector Here
« on: March 29, 2020, 08:51:09 AM »
Hello, I'm Mochanut! Soon 21 years old brony from Finland. I'm attending to school to get a profession, I'll be a cleaner. My partner also likes ponies and lots of nerdy stuff such as me, another important person is my cat Freddy who lives with my mum.

I've been collecting since Dec 2019, so my collection is still small but growing.
Mainly I collect G1 ponies, because they happen to be the prettiest in my opinion. But I collect other generations as well, there's always something I like in every generation.

I think what made me collect was the nostalgia, I didn't have many ponies as a kid so I felt the newborn love towards design of ponies. They make me happy 💛

Probably my all time favourites from my collection are Pinkie Pies, G1 Starlight, Birthflower Daffodil (alternate color) and Baby Lollipop.

Thank you for letting me into this awesome community!

Oh cool!  Welcome!

What are you cooking/baking today?
What's your favourite thing to make?
Any recommended recipes/websites/books?

As far as cooking it would be a Salmon and maybe later or next week I might be baking Cookies.

Cupcakes are my favorite food to make.

I took Home Economic Classes in high school.

We are a global community. Let's keep each other posted about the real state of events.

Discussion is welcome.
NO FEAR MONGERING

1. Where do you live?
2. What is the current climate like where you're at?
3. Are news reports coming from your area accurate or no? What is going on?

1) I live in the North East

2) Neighboring Town Has Dozens of cases and is on Lock Down (Quarantined By Police Only Allowing Residents Out To The Supermarket & Doctors), my town is told to Self Quarantine, not everyone respects the 6 Feet Apart, and people are acting seriously crazy.
All of my doctor's have had to reschedule.
1/2 of the people in my state are Laid Off at least temporarily/indefinitely.
The state mandated that all business cut their staff in half (to avoid crowded offices) except all Essential Medical Personnel should be going to work and there are requests for Retired Medical Professionals to volunteer.
Most people are poliet but there are some people are Angry, Mean, And Inappropriate.
Starting arguements/fights with other shopper, harrassing shoppers, following/staking shoppers, not Respecting 6 Feet Socail Distancing, Attempting to grab customers and stealing from customers carts.
Also Staff will put supplies away for themselves, not respecting buying limits - grrr...
I'm not sure when this Corona Virus Pandemic will end.

3) Right now, the hospitals have about 2 weeks until they run out of supplies.
So in a few months if you get a Bumble Bee Sting, in a car accident, or anything - who knows how much the Hospitals would be able to help.
Also diabetics who can't get their medicine will really be facing those consequences in a few weeks/months...

Off Topic / Painfully Shy & Trouble Opening Up - Can Anyone Relate???
« on: March 15, 2020, 05:56:11 PM »
I'm painfully shy and I have trouble opening up.  In college, I had friends but lost contact with the vast majority of them.  I'm in my early 30's, unmarried, not sure how to meet new people or how to really talk to other people sometimes.  I have trouble opening up because it is hard putting yourself out there to possibly being rejected (even on this board).
    :|
I don't mean to seem suspicious or anything, sorry if my posts come off as awkward, I can be a bit lonely (which is due to Social Anxiety).

Now with the Corona Visus my very few friends cancelled our Saint Patrick's Day Celebration Plans.

Can anyone here relate to being Painfully Shy, Having Trouble Opening Up, Being A Bit Lonely Or At Least Empathize?
 :lookround:
 :( :( :(

Edit: Thanks For Reading, Being Respectful & Taking Social Anxiety Seriously

Feel Free To Post Respectfully And Even Priviate Message Me Respectfully

Awesome!  Are you going to a 4 year University studying nursing or a specialized schooling?
I know there are different types of nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practing Nurses, Clinic Nurse Specialist, Certified Midwife Nurse, and Certified Nursing Assistants, Nurse Midwife, and such...
My University had a 4 year program which I was very familiar with...

Sorry if I'm too inquisitive, My professor thought I would be a good nurses as did my friends...  so I was just wondering what type of Nursing Career you were considering...
