Spoiler This was hard to sit through. Celestia and Luna were acting like irresponsible children. They were much better performing their royal duties. Plus did they not know they're running a school? How many duties can six ponies be expected to do well? Even the Canterlot ponies were like "you're screwed". Then Twilight goes and breaks the all-important amulet.

She edited some of the music to make the words fit better.
I am in favor of translating names and songs into the respective language but I guess Sia is too big of a name to erase her song from the movie and just do a translated version.
All other songs in the movie were dubbed of course.
Yeah, I found that out when the uploader replied. It's actually better I think than what it probably would've been anyway. Seems to be the way of it that everything in movies is dubbed in other languages EXCEPT the songs, which makes them out of place.

I'd have thought it'd just be dubbed over but it seems the music is slightly different, like it was redone. Doesn't seem like it was dubbed over in other languages of the movie though. Makes me wonder why this wasn't used in the German version of the movie.

Figures they give you something new and something we've seen a billion times. I suppose you could sell the figure but who'd want another Twilight figurine when you can probably get an identical version for much less? At least the the other figurine isn't bad.

Spoiler This episode was pretty bad. Mudbrier wouldn't stop correcting everyone and Starlight couldn't be a counselor if her life depended on it. At least Silver Stream had the courage to say it directly to her. That was about the only redeeming quality to this episode.

As I've said before, I love Spike, both in this generation and the previous ones (G3 is probably my fave though).
To me, he's at the very edge of "main character" material. I do appreciate their efforts in giving him character development and all, but I think having him also be the "sidekick" at the same time just gives me unpleasant vibes; as if he's a just servant to the mane 6 and they don't really think highly of him.
Plus him being a little kid amongst primarily teenage/adult aged characters doesn't help. He really has no subordinate or peer; he's the smallest and weakest (physically and sometimes mentally) character in almost every way. Smolder is probably the closest we have, but even so, I'm not a big fan of her character.
I like G3 Spike myself. I liked his proper attitude, patience and mischievous streak. He was great! I can never remember his full name though.
G3 Spike and his rap career will always be the best Spike to date! Btw, his full name is John Jacob Jingleheimer Spike.
I always thought his name was "The one with the really long name that just happens to be called Spike"?

I've said this so many times. Spike is a sidekick this show (goaded by its so-called fans) insists on trying to make a main character.
Might be a good idea for the writers to recall how Spike was done in the past.
"But those icky G1 and G3 ponies are so universally hated by all of humanity. That's what our fans say."
That's obviously why they were so successful and not because of the sheer joy collectors got from seeing them.

Spoiler I didn't like Garble before but now it's just so out-of-the-blue it's unclear which version I dislike more. Teddy from MLP Tales was much more believable. What exactly did Spike hope to gain from all this when he was made fun of every time he was with the other dragons?
That he's still the resident doormat.
So pretty much just like his superhero counterpart, utterly useless.

Spoiler You're forgetting this is the Apple Family. They not only never learn anything, but are proud of it.
Seems to have rubbed off on the rest of the Mane Six.
