I live with my parents, so I don't really have a say in decoration. Although they have one of my music decorations in the living room right now, I suppose that's just because we're saving it for my apartment in a few months.
My ponies remain back in my room. I have a small collection.
When I get my apartment I'm not sure where I'll put them. I'll probably keep them back in my bedroom. That wouldn't really be flaunting them, because I very much doubt I'll ever bring anyone back there.  (my love life = nonexistent. and has been that way for years now)
sounds like you and i are in the same situation  living with parents and no love life lol

I would really like to find a repro of g1 sweet sundrops' earring/clip thing. My sister has had her since childhood, and ours is broken at the "chain" part. The flower is still there, but it's bothering me >.<

I'm very reserved with my ponies--most of my closest friends don't even know I collect them. I think i'm still overcoming some insecurities of mine which make me a bit afraid of what they'll say if they saw them. I flaunt them for myself by keeping them on my bookshelf in my room--it's not like I have time to read anyway. Now, if I had a craft room, it would be ponified very quickly....

my first wild g1 find last week was a lovin' kisses from the sweet kisses series. Normally, a horse with lipstick would just look awkward to me, but she's quickly becoming one of my favorites. it probably helps that her lipstick color-changing doesn't work like it used to

Hey there! This month I spent quite a bit of my spare cash on pony things and I wanted to share them with you  First up is a kohl's exclusive train car set that I got for 10 bucks after I applied a coupon my mom wasn't using. Score! Then, an unboxed Princess Cadence and Applejack I bought from someone on facebook. They're in good shape, but I had to remove them from the box and throw it away because....DUN DUN DUN! They REEK like cigarette smoke! I was not happy about that, since I have asthma and smoke in particular is the worst thing for mine. oh well. I got them and all the accessories for only 10 bucks, though--including shipping. And last but not least, today's score! I decided to check out a Savers thrift outlet, where I found an RC G4 car (with no remote) and a mini herd of g3s! I was super happy to find a minty, but she came with some rather grungy small dolls that I'm probably going to donate. The rest were all bagged together. They were all very inexpensive and I've never had luck finding actual ponies at a thrift store, so i'm super excited and happy!  Here's a before shot so you can see just how grungy they all were I still need to get some stains off, but that's a project for another day. That's all for now! thanks for looking!

i'm loving all these nicknames! As far as I know, my ponies never had names. We just played with them as is, and can only assume we gave them different names each time we played with them to act out whatever "skit" we had come up with. I think I would probably have just called my baby ember "purple baby" or something

congrats on finding a mimic! you can spot clean with a magic eraser without getting the hair too wet. I'm not too familiar with factory curls since most of my childhood ponies didnt have them (and i destroyed the factory curls on the one that did :\)
Anyone else have any idea?

Today I actually popped a Una Verse head I found in a thrift store on a monster high body I ordered from ebay! She turned out cute, although her hair isn't anywhere near neat

Hi there! My sister saw me working on some of my customs and became very interested in making one of her own. However, she only wants to work with a tall/princess celestia/nightmare moon body type. The character she wants to make is white, so I figured a white celestia would be the best base for her Since she's never tried anything like this before, she and I both think it would be best that she uses bait rather than a new pony. it's perfectly fine if it's a bit scuffed up or dirty. Anyone have anything like that? Please let me know if this doesn't fit the rules for this forum. Thanks for reading!
