They're new to me, and they're adorable! I'd love to own them someday :)

I find it difficult to give toys that you collect to little children simply because the playing might ruin the pony's hair and/or body (especially the hair, don't give children toys with hair! :D Just kidding lol but really, you know how pony hair and doll hair gets tangled very VERY easily). Especially since most of us went through hell to get some of those ponies fixed. It always irritates me when my 5 year old sister takes my ponies, because I know that when she'll give them back, the hair will most likely be a mess. It's probably hard to give your collectibles to children to play with because you've tried so hard and so long to keep them 'perfect', without a single scratch or stray hair. It hurts to see heavily played-with toys in general, but when it's YOUR toys, it's even more painful :D

Of course, the older the child, the more responsibly they'll play with the toys. If I wanted/had to give my toys to a child, I'd just start with my least favorites, the ones who I don't like that much, the ones who are not my all-time favorites.

I'm pretty happy with Hasbro's colours for the most part.  :)

I agree that Chartreuse is just not the best hair colour on any pony. Though the streak in the 2nd set of rainbow ponies is fine.

This one's quite the opposite for me :D I absolutely adore every G1 that has neon yellow/neon green hair. I love that color on ponies so much!

Most likely yes :)

Off Topic / Re: One to debox, and one to keep NRFB FOREVER!!!
« on: March 27, 2015, 06:01:52 PM »
I don't get to buy many ponies/dolls at all, so I'm unable to get two of the same toy just to keep one in the box. I prefer playing and posing my toys and taking pictures of them. Although if I really really like how the toy looks in the package, I'll keep it in the package for a few hours or days (depending on how patient I am) and then debox it. Also, if I like the illustrations/package design, I either keep the whole box, or cut out the illustrations and keep them.

I have quite a small space to display my toys, but I haven't run into space issues because I don't own that many yet :D however if my collection grows, I'd just be displaying the toys not only on shelves, but wherever I can find a tiny bit of space: a few here and there, for example the windowsill, the bedside table, my desk, etc.

He's so awesome! And the cat ride picture is probably the best pony-related picture I've ever seen. Totally made my day :D

I wanted to say that I love all ponies as they are, but then I remembered G3 Waterfire, which probably is the only pony that I would change if I could (that's why I'm planning to get/make a custom of her one day). I always kinda wanted her hair to be more of a bright orange than red. I don't know why. I think it would look more fire-ish, since I associate fire with orange rather than red. I love her red hair as well though :)

I'd like a price check on these:

because there's been a lonely Scootaloo in a local supermarket for ages and I'm considering getting her in hopes of maybe selling or trading her.

Is it worth it? :D
