Off Topic / Re: The Wonderful World of Accents« on: August 19, 2015, 09:34:01 PM »
Even though I've been living in Australia for years, it doesn't really have any effect on my accent most of the time. I've talked to people and had them immediately go "you're American!"
It's probably because on most days I don't talk to anyone besides my parents. Kinda comes with the whole "living in the middle of nowhere" thing. You can't pick up an accent from people you never hear. 93

Adoptables / Little vector ponies (OPEN again - woohoo!)« on: August 19, 2015, 02:18:19 PM »
Anyone want a cute little vector pony? Or, if you want one that's not so little, that's fine too.
visitors can't see pics , please register or login Rainbowberry is here as an example of the base. OCs and Hasbro ponies are both fine. Ponified versions of non-pony characters might be fine, but it depends on how well I can get them to work with the base, and how complex the design is. You don't need to provide any reference pictures of canon ponies, although it's convenient. It's nice if you not only mention the name of the pony, but also the generation they're from and some distinguishing features (such as colors or symbols), because Hasbro reuse names sometimes and I don't want to be wondering "which Twilight does this person want?" If you're asking for an OC/ponysona, then I do need to know their race (unicorn, earth pony, pegasus...), colors, and symbol, and any other markings they might happen to have. A good reference picture of your OC should be enough, since they usually show all of that. I also need to know if the pony you're requesting is supposed to be wearing any accessories such as a scarf, necklace, hat, or tail bow. Canon ponies can be used by anyone. Here are the canon ponies I've done so far (aside from Rainbowberry): Spoiler Whether they have tail bows varies depending on the original request and various other factors. Hi! Welcome to the Arena!
...And yeah, beware of pony-itis. Every time I try to tell myself I have enough ponies, I wind up buying at least one new one within the week. 97

Hi. You might remember me. You suggested that I should make an account here after I got a flawed Rainbow Shimmer Princess Luna from eBay (I thought it was paint on her wing at first, but on closer inspection the flaw seems to be inside the plastic).
Thanks for getting me to join! This is probably the nicest community I've seen anywhere 98

And once again, journalists have no idea what they're saying, and are too lazy to spend a few minutes looking stuff up on Google... even though information is often available without people having to put in any actual effort at all, why bother trying to find real information when you can just make stuff up and pretend you know stuff when you don't? It pays so well after all.
That is some pretty hair, but it has nothing to do with dudes who like G4 MLP, or fans of older gens for that matter. Although there is some overlap between people who like ponies and people who like the idea of dying their hair like that, since both groups like pretty colors. (There's also an overlap between people who like the Kirby anime and people who like Steven Universe, since both shows are emotional rollercoasters involving weird aliens and a kid whose evil-fighting destiny isn't gonna wait for him to grow up first. But they don't have anything to do with each other either. They're just two unrelated fun things that happen to be enjoyed by some of the same people. I think I'm starting to get off-topic here.) 99
Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Re: Heard about the Flilly little horses?« on: August 15, 2015, 12:23:07 PM »Oh, cool. I had trouble finding any Filly-related information at all, and saw almost nothing related to the individual lines. Thanks for telling me. I bought those two a while ago off eBay - the seller somehow mistook them for Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle, and I only found them in the first place while looking for interesting fakies. It's nice to know their actual names.Well, I have a pair of teeny tiny unicorns that appear to be Filly Princesses, but I know almost nothing about them. Those two are from the Filly Unicorn line. The yellow one is named Iris and the purple one is named Zara. They're siblings. 100

I've updated the My Little Wiki page on her with the information mentioned in this thread. The poor thing looked like it hadn't been edited in years.

They can't exactly know if nobody tells them. 104
