Off Topic / Re: Underappreciated movies?
« on: December 21, 2014, 02:36:16 PM »
There are SO many movies that are underappreciated. From many companies, from many franchises, from many genres, and it's hard to decide which one to say above the rest.

I'm going to say Gojira, the japanese movie from 1954. It still recognized as a masterpiece, but it needs to stay that way forever, and many youngsters are loving the 2014 mediocre reboot too much.

A villain who is a manifestation of evil, and all that wants in the Universe is death so darkness can reign over everything forever.

With a satanic vibe, like this:

"Oh, and Scorpan, if by Midnight, I don't have a fourth pony, a head will roll! HIS!"

This was the line that separated MLP from being your standard kids show. This was the line that showed how much of a bad-ass was Tirek without throwing punches or lazers like some generic bad guy.

Victor Caroli nailed that performance better than anyone in the franchise, seriously. It was this guy and this line that got me into G1.

Irish and English accents are so sexy (am I allowed to say that?) Australian is a fun accent. Jamaican accents sound almost musical and I love them. I'm learning that I  really like Japanese accents too. I don't think I have an accent. Its just...there I guess? Just a regular American non-accent? Would you even call that an accent? I used to date this guy from Israel and wow did it blow me away at how gorgeous and soft it was! Yummy :inlove:

North-American USA english accent is considered neutral. The same can be said fro the spanish from Mexico and the spanish from Spain. Different accents, but Mexico's is more neutral.

I can't really remember which Pokémon was the one I caught first, or on which game.

I know one thing, my favourite will always be Mewtwo. Followed by Garchomp.

Woah. That IS amazing. Spot on, it looks like it's a scene from the movie!

But it's not strange, Eduardo Quintana animated this, and he's one of the best animators nowadays. He animated the spanish-english movie Justin and the Knights of Valour.

David the Gnome, still the best cartoon I've ever seen. It's a nostalgic natural masterpiece with nearly no equal.

Also DBZ, Samurai Jack, the Smurfs, most CN cartoons, etc.

British, because it's the swaggest accent.

And Irish, because it just sounds bad-ass.

Age of Ultron: I'm a Marvel fan beyond comprehension, and they're outdoing theirselves in the movie industry. I will finally see one of my favourite Marvel baddies kicking ass.

Infinity Wars: Also from Marvel, but this has friggin' Thanos! THANOS! IT'S GOING TO BE SO EPIC!!

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F: I really love DBZ... I do, a lot... Battle of Gods was one of the best DBZ movies in a long time, and they're finally returning the most evil and classic villain from the series, to possibly kick more ass.

Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens: YES!!! FINALLY!!! The greatest movie franchise ever is back!!

Jurassic World: It better be good, because if not... Oh, who am I kidding, it HAS to be awesome.

Godzilla 2: I still have to wait 4 years for this one. Goddamnit. Well, at least I can see this new Fatzilla on the big screen probably fighting the mighty King Ghidorah.

"Upcoming japanese 2015 Godzilla movie: I'll always prefer the original over the mediocre reboot. And I hope Toho surprises me with this one.

The Host 2: One of my favourite monster movies gets a sequel, and it most likely will come out soon. Probably...

And that's pretty much it.

Either Dr.Seuss or Tolkien.

Ok, maybe not Tolkien, but, the Hobbit, at least. Tolkien wrote that for his children, so it could be a nice book to go to bed.

« on: December 20, 2014, 02:35:18 PM »
Hippie, my dog, got abandoned and my parents found him a long time ago. He died a few years ago, and I still miss him.

Luna(not named after the pony), my female doggie, she's still very young, and was recently found by a friend of mine on a road. Probably the most innocent pet ever.  ^.^

Sparkles, my cat. Damn you, great aunt, for losing one of the best pets ever!

Steven, my raven-like bird. I found it being hurt on the street. I cured him and it was my pet for a day, bfore he decided to fly away.

The list goes on, but it's a VERY big list. I love animals <3

Off Topic / Re: Nintendo 3DS vs. Nintendo 2DS?
« on: December 20, 2014, 02:28:54 PM »
I can't really see a very big difference between both, but there are times where the 3D effect on the 3DS becomes quite annoying.

Depends on which game.

The villains are great, either unbelievably evil or funny as hell, the animation could be better, but the handwriting technique is still better than G4's lazy flash animation.

Some stories could be expanded and made more deep.

Off Topic / Re: Ever fall completely in love with a piece of music?
« on: December 20, 2014, 08:55:05 AM »
Everything classical is pure delight to my ears. Bach, Beethoven, Mozart. There's clearly no way to top their music.
But of course, 70s-90s songs were my childhood and have stayed on my heart since the very first time I heard them.

And a few 2000s-2010s songs here and there, but they're mostly just guilty pleasures. There's a minority where a few of them are actually decent.

Theme Songs in games always have a catchy tune, and in movies sometimes they're like half the reason the movie did so well in theaters.
