Well I managed to get a lot more of the scum inside Scootaloo off, with the use of oxiclean, q-tips, wads of paper towel and tweezers. Good enough I think, none of that's visible from the outside. Reckon I'd have to dig around inside Scootaloo with the CLR/qtips if I used that. With the plastic zip ties, that inside mess shouldn't be much of a concern. I appreciate the suggestions though.
RE Moondancer: Her eyes are blueish, not sky blue, but a bit darker. Definitely has a glittery symbol, though faded with age/use. I avoid cleaning around glittery symbols for fear of damaging them further. Italian Moondancer doesn't have glitter symbols? Kinda hard to tell from the pics on My Little Wiki.
I should get around to conditioning Lofty/Party Time/Baby Moony/Scootaloo's hair tomorrow, pics coming tomorrow evening

Current project: G1 Windy & Ruby Lips, G2 McD Sundance, Ursa Major Love it when a pony's hair ends up perfectly smooth and silky. Baby Moony came out beautiful, though her neck glue crumbled. Took her apart to check for filth, but she was clean. Lofty was decent enough, a couple smudges on her flocking, and some missing on her wings and tips of hooves. Party Time's tail ended up frizzy, not too concerned about that. This is the best I could do with the rusty scum inside G3 Scootaloo. Still some left, though much better than before. There she is, cleaned up and good to go. Zip ties on her tail, yanked it through with some fishing line. Had to soften up her plastic with a hair dryer so I could put her back together. Overall I'm content with how she turned out. Previous projects: G1 Moondancer, TE Fizzy and G2 Morning Glory Before: After: Fizzy definitely failed the white cloth test, the others weren't too bad. Hair wasn't terrible, though I don't have the tools to make it perfectly smooth and straight. Just conditioner and a comb. Moondancer's either an italian variant or a factory defect, her symbols aren't symmetrical. G3 Scootaloo, TE Party Time, SS Lofty, Baby Moondancer Before: Not too bad on the outside. Scootaloo has it rough unfortunately, be warned when opening the following spoiler tags That mess is everywhere inside her body/head. Can't easily get a pipe cleaner in the harder to reach spots to clean her out, every reasonably mild cleaning method I tried (Vinegar and baking soda, Oxiclean), that rusty stuff won't budge. The worst is her tail. Wasn't much left to her tail washer and clamp. Turned the water a thick shade of brown when soaked in oxiclean, still having to scrape bits of clamp off. I can smooth out her tail eventually, and have some spare zip ties in place of metal components. After:

Regarding this G1 Moondancer, I think she may be an Italian variant. At least going by the pictures on My Little Wiki. Her symbols aren't symmetrical, and has Hong Kong etched on her slightly concave hooves. Any way to tell for sure?

I"ve got a similar problem. I started off collecting G4 ponies around 2011, when the G4 craze really started taking off. Couple years later I found two dozen G3's at a thrift store (And a tail-less G1 Cotton Candy). Currently have nearly 30 G1's and around 75 G3's, and it's only growing from there.

Cleaned up my first batch of purchases. Nothing too messy, though Baby Surf Star has some ink from a price tag stained on her leg. Picked up Moondancer, TE Fizzy and a G2 Morning Glory yesterday, I'll clean them up this weekend. I'm trying to spread out my purchases and not spend too much at once. Saving up for Bronycon next year, bought a badge during black friday and am looking into plane fare now. I don't really have a favorite G1, I just check out thrift stores once and a while and pick up ponies I don't have. I've been collecting more older gen MLP toys than G4's, mainly due to the variety of colors/poses and the fact that they look more like equines.

brightberry, that Bluebelle had no tail, I didn't pick her up. Got a couple more pics of what that shop had to offer: G2's? The white pony on the right lost the twinkles in her eyes Looks like someone grilled this Lickety Split Some twinkle eyes Other ponies, including a so soft and... a bear? The shop owner said that bear was part of the G1 show, though I haven't watched too much of the original series. I do have that Shout Factory collection released a couple years ago. The stuff I bought: The variation of G3 Pinkie with her name on leg, baby Surf Star, G1 Moonstone I don't know the two in the middle, briefly looked on Strawberry Reef, the purple pony with a 3d ice cream symbol and that rainbow maned beauty with glittery umbrellas. Sparkler and what looks like a 25th anniversary blossom on the end.

Probably around 3-4 dozen MLP toys from every generation. Found at the Treasures/Antiques mall on Jefferson avenue. Didn't have a chance to buy any or go for a more in depth look as I had to get to work. Saw a couple G2's, thought they were fakies at first until I noticed the (c)1997 Hasbro stamped on their hooves. Mostly G1's featured in that pic, there were some G3 and G4 toys on another shelf that I didn't get a pic of. Going back today to grab a few.

Another thing I like about this plush, it's soft and squishy enough to cuddle with. Compared to WhiteDove's plushies for example, WhiteDove crams so much stuffing in her plushies that they're more like fabric statues than plush toys.
On an amusing note, I showed Knoxie to my parents and got some lighthearted teasing in return. Considering we're from Connecticut and my parents are die hard UCONN fans, showing them a Tennessee themed pony wasn't the best of ideas.

https://www.deviantart.com/calusariac/art/OC-Knoxie-the-batpony-757477428Knoxie, a batpony based off of Knoxville TN. Color scheme from the local sports teams and the Sunsphere for a cutie mark. I've a soft spot for bat ponies, I love their tiny fangs and tufts of hair on their ears. Really soft minky too, and the ears are even 3d.

All the plushies I bought. Everyone fought over EquestriaPlush on Friday and I went went straight for EpicRainbowCrafts. Picked up Bright Mac and Pear Butter, cause you can't get one without the other. Also picked up Snowdrop, Mona Pia (SophieScruggs OC) and seapony AJ. A Fallout Equestria blanket. I had to lay it over the Project Horizons blanket I picked up at Babscon earlier this year. All the prints Sadly next year's the last bronycon, will be one of the last times I'll do something like this. I'm gonna go sit down and hug my plushies now...

Thinking about upgrading, I've been carrying around a flip-phone for a while. Anyone got any recommendations on which carrier to go with?
-Aside from the cost of the hardware and accessories, I shell out around $120 a year with Tracfone. Might as well be unlimited talk/text considering how rarely I use it, I've got more minutes than I use. -In terms of data plans, occasional facebook/discord use, probably a World of Warcraft app, light browsing, and rarely a GPS app if I ever go out of state. -I'd prefer to avoid contracts if possible.
Thanks

Normally I don't chat with people I don't know, but Bill Newton's a native Australian and my brother moved to western australia (He met his wife over there). With him I had something in common to talk about

Got back from Everfree NW yesterday. Got pics with Ashleigh Ball, Bill Newton and DustyKatt. Bought a handful of plushies and a couple wall scrolls. That Marina mascot plush is adorable! And those Celestia & Luna scrolls are amazing as well. Overall I had a mellow pleasant time at Everfree. Nothing too exciting, attended the usual VIP guest panels, stayed up till midnight playing Buck Legacy. If I end up here next year, there's a restaurant called Dukes Chowderhouse a short shuttle ride from the con venue. Had some delicous chowder and a macadamia encrusted chunk of halibut. Any Seattle residents or visitors ever been there? Only regret, I wasn't able to get deeper into Seattle. Traffic was rough, train rides took too long and Hiring an uber looked too pricey. Would've liked to get a few pics of the ocean.

World of Warcraft: Clearing the Highlord Kruul challenge on my warrior. Hard but fun encounter, a lot going on and can be easy to mess up. Took me around 20 tries to win that fight, was quite satisfied at the end.
